Preparing cubed ground beef for soups or strews can be done in two ways. A 10-pound sleeve of ground beef can be steamed in the sleeve or baked out of the sleeve. Both methods are quick and easy.

How is it steaming if the pasta is submerged in the water. It is not steaming, it may be cooking in the steam cooker, or something like that, but it is not steaming.
What is the cook time? What is the humidity setting along with oven temp?
This is not steam cooking, just boiling at a temperature of around 212 !

I usually boil water, pour it over dry pasta and put it in the steamer. Works fine.
Covering something in water and putting it in the oven isn't steaming. I don't know why you would use the oven when you can use the ring, use less energy, and keep an eye on progress.
That's a commercial combination oven, it also doubles as a steamer which is what they have it set on there.

The pasta was steeped in water is that technically steaming?
I just tried using my food steamer on some ramen noodles, for 1 hour, and it didnt work at all. BUT, i think a pressure cooker can steam ramen noodles and any pasta.
