This is such a wonderful surprise, it makes me hopeful that Hasbro will at least try to leverage this with new media. Hopefully an animated series. Regardless, feels gratifying to see it. I wonder how the IDW execs are feeling, knowing that there was this much potential in the brand if they had handled it more effectively? Regardless, great work Chris!

In regards to the Stinger Driver, I am confused that at EVERY turn the Joe team refuses to use the Cobra Officer torso. The one that has the rank on the chest. Additionally, with the Stinger driver, they didn't give him an officer helmet. Why? The helmet looks identical to the Python Patrol Officer; right down to the paint apps. I wonder if they had excess unsold PP Officers and just nabbed the helmets and possibly other parts. At least you can use the alternet head if you want to mix-match ethnicities. If I ever get to meet Lenny...I am straight up going to ask him what's up with ditching the Cobra Officer torso.

The story for this figure is so confusing, this is definitely a “what if” version.

1:01:24 The heads will only be the 82 swivel. No ball joints, I asked that question specifically. My speculation on that answer was that it's easier for reducing tooling cost since the swivel would be universal and not varying in size.

I think some of the errors are intentional. Troopers and officers would be an example, but I also think the typo on the Ferret is intentional also.

It seems like the stuff with people's channels being hit or taken down entirely has to do with Viper island. Artist shark has been vocal in his dislike of that person and all of the business surrounding him. It could very well be that he got the equivalent of a denial of service attack (from Viper Island) as far as copyright strikes to his channel. But like you said Chris, hopefully it all gets sorted amicably.
