Frankie says RELAX: The In's and Out's of Skeletal Muscle Relaxants
With increased efforts to decrease opioid prescribing for chronic pain conditions, the non-opioid analgesics and co-analgesics are being more widely utilized. Skeletal muscle relaxants (SMRs) are frequently used chronically despite a paucity of data supporting this practice. Without a clear base of evidence, a thorough understanding of the pharmacologic profile of these agents is essential when selecting therapy. This session will present the class of SMRs in their entirety, review commonly accepted mechanisms of action and challenge widely held beliefs regarding the appropriate place in therapy for this drug class when treating chronic pain.

I was taught in school growing up that it was wrong to stereotype. This is so ugly and wrong. Have fun with your worthability score. The endless possiblities of the real time national monitering data base. These program analytics can't see the whole human being and you are stealing away someones freedom and consitutional rights. Not to mention Human rights, no longrr treating people with dignity but as numbers you consider to be factual statistics. I won't worry because all these things must come to pass. I hold my faith in God. The only guidance I need comes from him ,who created me.

Man I have OIH it make pain so much worse I swear you’ll wanna stop doing opioids and deal with the regular pain! The drug induced pain is WAY MUCH WORSE! My mom says all the time “if your gone to do a drug that makes you hurt why take it” lol she’s right! Everytime I used fentanyl my torn rotator cuff would feel as if my whole shoulder was giving birth to a bowling ball! Without the fentanyl it just kinda hurt unless I over use it! Don’t get me wrong, it hurts everyday but on drugs the pain is UNBEARABLE

was told Intravenous IV-IG can reduce Small Fiber Neuropathy via regular Intravenous administration. Recently I was introduced to a oral capsules by METACURE. The Revive Alpha Lipoic Complex with Curcumin is much faster than Intravenous IV-IG and ALA. The SEVERE NERVE PAIN, TINGLING AND BURNING are reduced about 90% to 100% in one to two weeks. The NUMBNESS is slowly going down though takes much longer.

Tbis works i was doing 10 caps of fentanyl a day in baltimore city and they slowly induced buprenephrine through IV while giving me dilaudid at johns hopkins bayview in baltimore city and while i wasnt 100 percent comfortable i can tell you it is defenitly the most effective way to get onto suboxone this is not something you can do at home because the amount your bwing induced is given thru IV and it really is a miniscule amount they start with its .2mgs then .4 then .8 then 1.2mg over the course of a day and a half two days and then you start oral subutex and you bring down the amount of dilaudid you take whilw increasing the amount of buleeneohrine you take. I must say that this worked and as a heron addict that started at 15 and im 32 now johns hopkins saved my life and i got onto sublocade and ive been off all opiods now for 6 months forst time in 17 years. I really do feel blessed that we have people who are not addicta that have dedicated there time to sit think and create drugs like suboxone and create methods like the bernese mwthod. I cant help but feel that if i was an addict in the 70s 80s or 90s i would not be alive. I have a quality life today because of the sympathy college educated doctors had to tale the time and i must say that we are at a pinnacle for drug rehabilitation and i truly am thankful and blessed because i know how i am and if the roles were reversed i would not have the sympathy those soctors had for me and it really is incredible the mercy those doctors had for me and the brains behind these drugs and methods all to help us so called losers and junkies. God bless

Been on it for 10 years I am more of a slave to this then I was to any of my pain medication. Ironically, those other medication‘s worked Suboxone does nothing for my pain. It is also impossible to get off of none of my doctors have ever offered me an exit strategy or warned me of the side effects, as to date, Suboxone has $1 billion sell it for tooth, loss, toothache and other health problems. These are all snake oil salesman. They know nothing about pain management. They just know how to play the stock markets pay off.

I can tell you they are excruciating and peculiar. They'll occur at the same time of day sometimes for days in a row, maybe longer. They'll come on fast and hit like a freight train, like a hot poker searing the inside of your brain from your eye to about your ear on one side of your head. Your eye may droop and water. Your nose may run. You may begin to rock back and forth and hit your head on something, maybe as a natural reaction to disrupt the feeling if only for a second. You might groan and moan and hit things. Sometimes it's hard to be still; it feels like you have to move and have to rock back and forth. It's very intense and very painful. I've used oxygen for the last couple clusters I've had, and I think it works to get the headache to go away more quickly. Not much else seemed to for me, but I may not have tried as many treatments as others. I get the clusters about once every 2 years, and I just started one last night - had a precursor headache around midnight that woke me up and then another a couple hours later that was more like a normal cluster headache. If you suffer from them, don't give up. I know terrible thoughts may enter your mind when you're having one, but remember, it won't last forever, and yes, you are stronger. Hang in there. Be tough. Love you guys.
