To cap off the day, the farm's new owner, Tim stopped by to see everything taking place. Man you don’t see to much woven wire fence anymore! Great video
At 00:22:18, you become a little kid, giddy as can be. 😂
....I definitely read that as "using your hot *wife*"
Where can I find a drury hunt on this farm??
Hi Bobby, Good information. Quick question, why is the camera so low?
Hey man which cam in particular give me a time stamp! Thanks
Good video and good details, Bobby. Well done.
Hey Bobby what state is this farm in ?
Illinois
@@TheWhitetailGroup thanks
Great video. Can you share what you use to roll up the electric fence line? I've struggled with a good solution to roll mine back up.
I've found that big extension cord reels work best.
Switch and miscanthus grass? That’ll be awhile. Can I come back in 3-5 years to see the fully developed property video?
The switch should be somewhat funtional at creating the travel corridors this year if we get some rains and fully functional next year ! Miscanthis may be a few 😜
My miscanthus was fully mature after first two seasons n was 3’ after 6 months
@@scottellis8964where did you buy the seeds? I need to get some
@@outdoorsmanallday I ordered it back in March from Real world . The 100 rhizome bag had over 130 in it ! I was able to screen two different stand locations with 3 rows of 15 yards each . It’s some awesome stuff man
@@scottellis8964 Thank you, sir. I will look into it for next spring :)
It’s all in the prep work! Awesome video
Sounds like a solid plan. So was this a drury farm?
Thanks man .. it was several years back !
You gonna coach them to kill a buck 😂
Can’t wait to see how the deer use the place this fall!!!
Nice Bobby
You mentioned putting up a " fence" and I clicked off!.
No you commented first and then clicked off😂
Not to fence in the deer …. Moron
Are you that ignorant to think a fence isn’t needed on one or more sides of a property to direct mature deer by a stand or away from neighbors?? Don’t knock it
Alright, who gave Biden a keyboard?! Welcome to the channel Joe!
@@scottellis8964Needed?
To loud 🎉
Converting grassland with at least some diversity, with perennial root systems to a monoculture of probably corn? That’s good? I beg to differ.
Awesome! Let me just say I’ve planted a lot of different varieties of switchgrass and by far the best most easy to establish is RC Big Rock germinates like alfalfa it’s amazing and I’ve planted RWWP and it’s great to but dosnt compare on ease of establishment
I love the smile 😃 on your son. Congratulations
Damn good idea with the black light, it's so true as the sun goes down.
I stopped watching when the dude encouraged the owner to chisel plow. C’mon Man! Stewardship not just killing.
My family been building old box blinds for 100 years, what exactly do you mean “started the box blind craze” people been hunting out if shooting shacks for as long as people been hunting.
This is one of the original drury blinds you used to see on all their videos .. this farm used to be owned by Terry drury .. shortly after they started hunting out of these was when you started seeing blinds being mass produced and sold at stores !
As long as it is it tilted forward it doesn't matter the forts are hooked in
Nice! The Charger looks great in the blind!
Price?
3,900
Sweet! How do we get one and how much? Will you have any distributors in GA? Looks a lot like a 360 blind with some cool tweaks made.
$3,900 picked up in Pella, Iowa. At this time we do not have any distributors.
@@TheWhitetailGroup That's fair! And that's assembled?
@@TheWhitetailGroup what's the dimensions on them? Interior?
Yes assembled. The dimensions are 6'x6'. You would just need to add whatever size 4x4s you'd want for the platform and make a ladder.
How stupid do you have to be to not just simply put it down and fix the forks?
See above comment
Super nice. Can’t wait to own one.
these guys do everything at a high level. Well done!
What's the name of your equipment and where you purchased it?
Mark clearly has no clue where Ramsey is lol it's not on 99 Hills road
Here in NW Alabama big woods I find areas like that with big aggressive rubs only in rut bed areas. A big buck will wait on the does to come to him in areas like that. But a bucks core here looks entirely different. But I still get excited on any big rubs.
If I hear the words exponentially or egress one more time….🙄
Constant scrolling of map is not desirable presentation. Good info.
Agreed
We bought 170 acre farm in Lancaster Kentucky (Garrard County) spring 2023. Y’all travel to Kentucky?!?!🦌🦌
Where are you located?

These days the farms for sale are like the leftovers…leftovers compared to 2015 ish and prior. Prices are insane. Just mad I didn’t cash in on it when I could have. 😢
Yup that’s why we tell people to get on our pre market list to see stuff first … prices will continue to rise .. supply and demand … there is very low supply
Does that 49 inch high woven wire 100% of the time keep deer from jumping it. If along a fencline ? (Plus the one foot up) 61 inches high I’m assuming ? Let’s just say if you want to keep deer out of a neighboring property? Or does it need to be taller.
Needs taller .. the more out of their way you want them to go the higher it needs to be … goal with these funnels is that if they needed to escape from Danger they could Jump it but will take the path of least resistance to bow range under normal circumstances
Nice buck congrats!
Lee I love the new gloves..every episode!! Show's how much work you put in!! I love it!! Keep up the great work your guy's do for you!!
Explain the fencing plesse
It's meant to funnel/bring deer into bow range. The fences are 49" woven wire with a gap on the bottom to allow critters to pass underneath. Some deer might still go under or jump over, but a majority will walk the "path of least resistance" around the ends. On this farm we built two fences. Each fence had a tree stand or box blind within 40-50 yards on each end.
@@TheWhitetailGroup thanks for the response. As a ex Iowa resident in northern Missouri now I still love following, learning, an implementing on my place. An the fence I've been thinking of all summer. Thanks
I believe all farms should be offered to neighbors instead of bringing all these yuppies in changing the dynamics of a way of life. They move in and think they own everything and want to change everything.... Sick what money and politics have done to people and country... Greed!
Yep!
Favorite videos I see pop up on my notifications!!!
Nice video, pretty much exactly how i do my permanent sets for the year. The only tip I could add is that i tie a loop and a carabiner to the bottom of the safety line about a foot off the ground. When i arrive to my stand i hook my pack to the carabiner at the bottom, which keeps the safety line taught while i climb up. When i'm up and set then i just haul my bag up using the safety line as a gear haul.
I have rubs all over one side of a my hunting place but not seeing no movement
Junk! Or they would be hunting it!!
Great salesmen! They got y’all convinced
