Glad it helped you through your workday 🙂 Personally, I'm just a solo act that has been quietly making a decent living in SW Florida for the past 24 years. All the songs I post on here are my first try at playing these tunes after I make a backing track and learn the lead solos and lyrics. I found that the best way to learn how to play a song is to put a video camera in front of you and play it till you get it right. Sultans was my very first time I played the song all the way through. I've since played it 1000 times, but you are hearing the first time on this video. Much appreciation for your message. Loved your comment 🙃

This was a long and complicated song, yet you perfected it like child's play. I applaud you, kind sir! Listening to your performance is impressive and mesmerizing, as is watching your rubber fingers dance on that guitar. If only I could play 10% as well as you, I'd be dancing for joy. As it is, getting to listen to your masterful playing is good enough for me. Thank God for your talent and for sharing it with the world when you did. Thank you for not cheating us or depriving us of the beautiful music you make. You're the first lefty guitarist I know. Now, I wonder if I would have been a better guitarist had I not been converted to a righty when I was a kid.💜

@@jeanniedavis2682 I was fortunate to have an older brother. When he was 15, I was 5 yrs old. He was taking lesson from Joe Walsh (Eagles) who needed an amp, so my brother let him use his in trade for lessons. Joe would sit on the floor and teach me simple songs. I played lefty from the beginning. I would actually change the strings on my brothers guitar to lefty when he wasn't home. We fought over one guitar for nearly a year before our father bought each of us a guitar. By the time I was 7, my father ordered me a lefty Gibson es335. If I would've changed to righty, I probably would of gave up. Luckily my parents didn't listen to the music store and made them get me a custom lefty. played Whiter Shade of Pale (wsop) in my last bands. But I was the keyboard player in those bands. The Bass player sang the song. The song was a tad high for my voice. The last 7 years I played in bands before my solo act, I was exclusively on keyboards. They didn't know I played guitar. I've not made a track for WSOP yet. I have videos on my YT channels of me playing keyboards

I sneak a video in every now and then on here if I have a few days off from gigging. That's when I usually post something. I've been very busy gigging and really find it hard to play on my days off. I had to learn this song for an upcoming event. Best way to see how it sounds is to stick a camera in from of you and see how it goes. Thanks for viewing this video.

on my gigs, I play a medley of CCR/Fogerty with Old Man Down the Road....Suzy Q....Green River. It goes over great in most cases

sorry, I just play it, but never figured out a tab. It's not real hard. Listen to the original sax solo. there is tabs for the sax solo online. I basically just play what the sax player plays

Thank you for the nice comments. I am my worse critic when it comes to playing something flawlessly. I learn each section of the song one at a time till I have that part in memory. Then I move on to the next part. After I learn 2-3 sections, I then chain them together till I can play it correctly. The best thing I ever did is video these songs when I am learning them. It puts a little extra pressure on me to play it start to finish the way I expect myself to play it. If I mess up, I start over and try again. What you see in these videos is me playing the song all the way through for the first time. I spend hours and hours creating the backing track on my keyboard's onboard sequencer. Sometimes, that is harder than playing the guitar parts. Anyway, thank you again.
