2007 Mitsubishi Lancer CH control arm replacement
First time to replace the control arms on this CH Lancer. Job was much easier than anticipated. CG, CH, CS Lancer. More economical to replace the entire control arm compared with replacement ball joint and bushings.

Citroen C4 hesitation and stall EW10A. Car would sometime not respond to throttle input, idle rough, and on the odd occasion stall. No engine codes were present for many months. Finally fixed with installation of new O2 sensor. Bosch part number 0258986680 (Citroen) 0258006026 (Peugeot).

Citroen C4 Heater core leak, coolant leaking in front passenger footwell. Connection between the heater core and coolant piping was leaking from the heater matrix area. Relatively easy fix.

a/c not blowing cold air? A/C not working in car? Then you might be low on gas due to a leak somewhere in the system. In many cases low gas will result in a wooshing or gurgling sound in the cabin. Short video to help you in case you're experiencing the same issue.

Peugeot Citroen Coolant level sensors can fail causing false top up coolant warnings to be displays on the infotainment unit. (PSA part number 96 469 025 80) G.CARTIER. Sensor picked up from the wrecker to replace a faulty sensor turns out to suffer from the same issue.

Repairing possibly the best cassette player. This Hitachi D-W700's rubber belts had perished, which required some serious clean up. This short video describes a very effective way to remove and clean melted drive belt debris from the capstan using an Ultrasonic cleaner with methylated spirit or IPA.

Hey , still have p0039 error after installing it. Car's NOT in limp move , goes perfectly. RCZ-R @302hp If i clear it with a professional OBD erro goes away , turns back after 10 days. Bah..
G'day. When you install the DV+, you re-use the original solenoid. If the rubber's were not perished before the upgrade, there's a chance that the original solenoid is at fault. Perhaps check that the cylinder is moving freely and smoothly. Failing that, test with a known good original part. Over 4 years later - no issues here. Good luck!

I just fixed my old ide cd rom drive. PC would recognize but nothing else. I took it out, opened it. I excersed the drawer that would not open without assistance back and forth until no resistance. Cleaned the laser. Boiled the belt in water. Also excersed the Lazer holder moving jig. Was stuck. Fixed and works now. I'm using an ide setup and win xp. Dell dimension 4700, diskette drive, 1 gb ram. Old game beast.
Nice work. XP is probably my favorite 'old' operating system. Spent countless hours playing Unreal tournament with mates something like 20 years ago when LAN parties were a thing :)
Hi there, having trouble with aircon in my wife's 2008 308 1.6Hdi. I had a similar sound with reduced cooling for some time, but now the AC doesn't turn on at all when dashboard button is pressed. I had it re-gassed a couple of years ago, but the system was never ice cold, so suspect some other part of the system could be faulty. Most garages simply test for low gas pressure and charge for a refill, without proper leak or system diagnostics. If the gas is low, will this stop the compressor turning on? Could the thermostat be at fault. and where is it located? Any thoughts welcome.
Hey there - If the thermostat housing has failed, yes, that will prevent the compressor turning on, however, low gas will also do the same. If you have a good scan tool, check for stored codes. The thermostat A/C code I think is stored in the BSI, and not the Engine ECU, so not all scan tools will pick this up. If your thermo fans run after you turn the ignition off, this is a tell-tale sign that your thermostat is faulty. If this isn't occurring, more likely you've got low gas is the system. I have read on a few forums that the condenser is a common point of failure on the 308. I'm still chasing a very slow leak on mine. Check out my other A/C 308 videos if you haven't already. @@Justfixitmate Thanks for your advice.For a long time the radiator fan did used to stay on, including after the engine was turned off. Although weirdly, the radiator fan doesn’t seem to operate anymore and the temperature gauge shows normal range. I wonder if this could be related to a heater matrix blockage previously which has cleared itself? To be honest the heating during winter and the cooling in summer have always been pretty poor. So, I’m guessing a new thermostat and possibly heater matrix needs flushing before turning back to look at the AC. Thanks.
@@Telstar_1 Sounds like thermostat housing to me - worth confirming with a scan tool, or by measurement if you can before you replace. Replace with an original part if you can, the aftermarket ones don't seem to last. Might be worth checking when you last replaced your cabin filter too.
HI THERE i have the YAMAHA RX- A3030 Aventage but the problem is , there is NO POWER to the unit after kettle plug in and press power button in SO I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG with it and i am not sure which buttons to press and hold in , to get it into service mode to run a DIAGNOSTIC and i cannot find A YAMAHA service repair centre close by to me between SUNDERLAND and NEWCASTLE ne34 7 area UK i was wondering if you could give me some advice on this problem or recommend someone that could help me restore this DISCONTINUED AV flagship ?? kind regards STEVE ???

Very good!. Requests: 1) how do you know which leds are in series? Do you have to test the soldering of the LEDs one by one and make a drawing? 2) how do you understand the polarities of soldered LEDs? 3) what type of new LEDs did you purchase? That is, they should be qualitatively identical to the faulty ones, but how do you understand which ones to buy?

Thanks for the video. Very useful information. I have a Peugeot 308 1.6T, which the error message is a little different, it shows" Coolant level circuit too low. But I checked the reservoir, it still closes to the maximum level. Not sure if I replace the sensor, the error message can be resolved or not. Thank you very much

Ive got one where 1 back seat alarm beeps. Do you think its the seat sensor that you soldered?
Quite possibly, you could try swapping some of the rear seats around to see if that makes any difference. Over the past weeks I've been pulling apart a set of sensors/unit to hopefully find the root cause of issues with these things... Keep an eye out for a new video in the near future.

Good vid but you don't explain how and where you put the 1K resistor at the end which is the most important bit to me. Did you just unplug the plug to the temp sensor and bridge the plug with this resistor? In other words its no longer plugged into the sensor in the thermostat housing? Thank you.

By pass the switch
Coolant level sensor ... turbo diverter valve... door check straps ... the exact same things wrong with my 308. Thanks for showing how to fix all my car problems! (Well nearly all, shudder on braking is the last, might take it to a mechanic for that.). And thanks for the glass roof tip too.

I got Samsung dv150f second hand for US$9.45, the lens was stuck and I fix it but the image was distorted purpled color like in this video but without flickering, I decide to pull out the CCD flexible cable, and put it back again carefully, and it's all back to normal again! Did you have to reset any codes? I'm getting thermostat control short circuit and I've put a new one on today and still no air con, though the compressor did engage for a little while, but not again since
You're testing my memory... I remember when the Thermostat was bad, once you cleared the code you had AC functioning for maybe one drive cycle before turning off again. I suspect you'll need to clear the code once you've changed the thermostat - but I'm not 100% sure since this was more over 4 years ago.
Have a 52x Creative drive that is going through this same mess. Might try your fix.
Are these the right voltages on the connector side? 1 ground 2 3.3V 3 12V
I've never measured myself, but this sounds maybe right. Pin 2 needs to be pulled high by the ECU to 5 or 12V. If the ECU is polling this signal (very likely) then your multimeter will be seeing the average voltage at this pin which could explain why you measure 3.3V. If I get a chance I'll make a measurement out of interest.

@@sinasarhadi90 In water = open circuit: (you wont measure anything), Out of water = connection to ground. Measure continuity between ground and pin 2 to test.

Omg!! Glad i found this! I havent used my g12 for more than 5 years because i thought it's already dead. I tried powering it on yesterday and my screen is still blue. I did not open mine but just pressed where you pressed it. And it worked! It's now functioning again!!! I love it!!
Hi Dan, old video so you may not reply. We had out thermostat replaced in our 308 back in April 2023, prior to that out air con would cool intermittently. Now its completely gone. Is there a chance they messed up the thermostat install? I'm going to buy a mutimeter today so I can run the tests you do in these videos. Cheers mate.
Hey there! There are a lot of cheap aftermarket thermostats available online. Do you know if an original part was used? Do your thermo fans ever stay on after ignition off? this is a sign there's an issue with the thermostat. It could be you're dealing with a slow leak in the AC system and you have lost your gas. If you're losing gas, you might hear a hiss/whooshing noise in the cabin when you first turn on the AC. At some point there will be insufficient gas in the system and the ECU will stop turning on the compressor altogether to protect itself. This kind of lines up with your symptoms. Could just be coincidence there was a thermostat change over that time period.

i was certain it wouldn’t be the strut , because they were - less than a year old monroe quick struts from advance auto- 250 apiece. Bought some gabriel struts off RockAuto for 150 a piece- cured my maxima - i’ve had bad luck with Monroe
Hi my canon s95 screen is flickering/blinking when I take photos and also when I view photos although it doesn't affect the output I'm quite bothered by it. Any idea what seems to be the problem?
Quite likely a similar issue with loose connector / ribbon cables, however I'm not really familiar with the s95. Good luck with it!
Power pusch Protector in sony audio system is really one of the headache problem. So sony should develop a button which this problem is rectified manually by users.
The Protect mode function is a mechanism to protect your speakers from a hardware failure. It's a necessary function. Considering most of these Amps are 20+ years old, I think it's reasonable to consider the possibility of hardware issues due to aging components / solder joints. I'd prefer protect mode over burnt out speaker coils.

It's sticky messy stuff hey? You could try soaking the aluminum parts in isopropyl alcohol (assuming they can be removed) I think whatever you do it's going to be a messy job!!

It's a film capacitor. Not sure of the uF rating but the numbers printed on yours will identify it.

Hey, awesome upload. This worked on an old G12 I recently purchased from ebay that had the same issue on day two of shooting. The seller agreed on a return but after I saw your video I asked for a partial refund in the hopes that this would work. It worked. I'd like to know for how long. Any updates on yours?
