It's a fest of the city, local people and from far away come to Bern to celebrate. Onion pie is also a delicious specialty on this day. Rarely it will snow in November. But we'll never know. You can go to the top at Matterhorn Glacier Palace. They have ice sculptures and snow there.

hi, I think you have to comply with the Swiss standards. Better to check with the right authorities
I think you can but you be at least Fluent in 3 languages they are currently using. German,French and Italian. You can find jobs in English but it will be rare. As far I know .EU citizens are far more easy to be accepted than from other countries except you have more budget ;)

Those adorable children are having a fantastic time. It's great to see a fun family event. The Carnival in New Orleans end on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday and is very unsafe on parts of the parade routes. If you attend, make sure you ask hotel staff for particulars. Only one murder at the Sunday night parade this year.
