Great.
Seeing you two together is making me reminisce on the old Taiji legacy/legends of kung fu days 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Enjoyed the interview
Always nice to see Grandmaster Sam F.S. Shin teaching! Good video. That fellow with glasses, in a white shirt on the left of the view, is very helpfully demonstrating going repeatedly over one of the important exercises- in fact everyone in the class is demonstrating good learning.
One hour conversation and not a single mention of elbows, gotta be a new record for Byron 🙃
Всё-таки непонятно, почему Екатерина начала ссориться со своим шифу. По-моему, если она хочет продолжать свое развитие в этом искусстве, ей обязательно нужно с ним помириться, иначе дорога к прогрессу, увы, закрыта...
Thank you very much for having me, Ashe!
Hi Katya, 🙏 thanks for your sharing of your beautiful journey. You are a great inspiration & I pray you achieve your dreams to help others. You will be a great blessing to all you touch. 🙏 from Vienna
What a wonderful interview; it was moving to hear your story Katya! What is the website address and CZcams channel link?

Ha!! Was waiting for this to happen 🎉 Very cool 😎
Yiquan most definitely comes from Shanghai. It was founded in Shanghai. Beijing was much later. The social unrest broke up yiquan. And for a long time only the health aspect was publicized. Open training was all health oriented in the Beijing period.
nope
Sincerest apologies to Serge for butchering his name so badly!
👍
Great interview. Really nice to get some idea of master Serges system. Been wondering about that for a while. Really interesting. Thanks 🙏🏻 😊
Great interview, Ashe
Loved this! Thanks for posting. I hope more historical footage of David Chin doing forms and hop gar footwork gets released

Thanks for watching! 🙏
Enjoyed this interview tremendoulsy!
As did I ! Thanks for having me!
Thanks for the video Ash, I really enjoyed it.
Glad to hear it!
I trained with master Chin and David Staples. I'm 5-9 and was around 150 lbs. When Arnold Schwarzenegger challenged me I nervously accepted. I won, using the style. The long strikes have plenty of power, it's good on bigger opponents. His front snap kick looked like a telephone pole coming right at you. Finally I finished him with a roundhouse kick to the hip joint, and he tapped. True story, they saw the fight. It was like a belt exam. A power style, works even on hung gar.
Arnold?!
Nice 🎉
Thanks 🤗
Respect, great interview, thanks guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Never heard of that art, excited to learn more!
Always a pleasure to speak with Chris!
Refreshing seeing a teacher laughing, having a good time and teaching in a friendly manner. GM Chin is a great guy. And masking for everyone! Respect!
🔥🔥🔥
Something change something is never change.
You are a great teacher.
I dont agree with philosophy I Liq Quan. for example if i am in the water i must swim for surviving but according Sam philsophy i must forget all my experiences because swiming it is eperiense from the past and i must forget it because it is information from the past and i must drown😆 Is it true?
@DL_UK thank you for answering so it means not everything from the past is against the nature and everything depends from situation.
@DL_UK Thank you for explaining .Is it true that your school think that there is no freedom of will in nature at all and only our school have the tuth others schools with another point of view are not right and dont have the truth?
@DL_UK yes i thought as you but when i saw his interview in Dao Yi talks he said where you saw freedom in nature .And then i start to think that it is some kind of cult or sect but it is only my understanding of it may be i not true.
@DL_UK well yes but it is very strange there are evil cults such white lotus and many others for example question about swiming nobody from i liq cant answer it it is very strange what in their minds.
🔥🔥🔥
Thankyou Sigung
Fung yen(Phoenix eye) great technique 🎉 Thanks Sifu ❤
👍👍👍💪💪💪
LMFAO
😂
To jest niesamowite. Pozdrowienia z Polski!
Good stuff, Hsin
If I can't do it slow, I can't do it fast.👍
Drawing attention to rotation is important enough, and his movement illustrates the general idea of what he’s saying. But seeing it in the context of a specific move/strike would help me understand a bit more- I don’t come across your channel enough to know what style(s) feature most predominantly. Is that rotation in a xingyi beng quan context? Yiquan?
Is there a reference point :)

Thank you Sifu!
"You can only learn to know what you are learning. " I really dig this
I think I do…..the complimentary change is the paradox principle of changing with the change to achieve no change…..or being in a constant of ever changing awareness state of “present harmony” with the change to achieve unchanged( lol that prob sounded weird)……
