Maybe fabricate an armored faceplate for it and give it the old trench camo treatment.
I believe this is a late WW-I model 16 Stalhelm. It has the exposed chin strap rivet low on the skirt. The Austrian model 17 has that rivet high on the skirt, The WW-II models 35 Stalhelms do not have an exposed chin strap rivet. Mark Felton just did a video on this today. Check it out.
Yep ! It’s a M1916 Stalhelm already have the correct horse hair padded liner and steel buckled brown leather chin strap.

This is a M1916 Stalhelm, the one your thinking of is an earlier model that was actually pressed leather I believe and had the spike.

Nope just standard brass case PMC 223, I think it’s the really long dwelltime on the 20inch barrel, plus you burn a lot of powder on the way out. Everyone and their mom wants an 11.5 mod11 spec ops clone these days.

This is the version of M2 carbine that I think should have been in Korean war i.e. M2A1. The traditional stock and the light weight makes it difficult to control which result in misses and contribute to the notion of .30 carbine's lack of stopping.

Flash suppressor and Flash Hider are completely interchangeable terms, don’t believe me Noveske and other companies call there flaming pig blast forward devices a flash suppressor. Which is exactly what the m3 carbine Cone flash suppressor/hider is and does.

It’s a 1920s cutts compensator, it’s not a pop on part it needs to be solder welded on. So a proper gun smith needs to install it, unless your confidence in solder welding is high I wouldn’t recommend doing it yourself.

if you can find where the signal from the slug counter routes out you can rig that to the count line in circuit on the play box, essentially bypasses the "credits" mechanic

The laughter was awesome lol. It's OK, I'm probably painting my 520 that I mentioned in another comment lol. I solved my sling swivel issue by using a qd cup and drilling and tapping a hole in the endcap. Totally different end cap however, only thing I didn't like about the cup is I have a qd part on it but only someone really into guns would notice. It was the easiest way to accomplish the end goal though

Holy shit… that makes perfect sense from a historical perspective, Rhodesia and South Africa were agricultural colonies. Makes sense in that it’s the only paint they had on hand.

This channel has become one of the kind that if there's an upload, i immediately stop everything and watch. Love the mix of creativity, historical attention and practicality. And a guy who actually shoots and runs his stuff and gets proficient with it. I long for a wide open shooting range like that. Some of us here in the midwest exclusion zone enjoy the same taste, but we are often limited to trash shooting inside 100 or 50.
