Here, we learn worship songs and some tips and tricks for making them sound decent on an acoustic guitar. Each episode is normally just 3-5 minutes long and is a video that you can watch or get as a vlog entry (through RSS). The songs are ones that are usually not covered in other online forums or by other worship leaders or artists. Since they cover all their material, most of the songs here are for songs done in the past 15 years, with lots from the 90's. These blog entries are done by Kim Gentes. I believe he used GADGAD tuning as he doesn't play the 2nd string on the 3rd fret as you are. And DADGAD gives it even a more rich sound as Steven Curtis Chapman does on a lot of his open tuning songs. Try tuning it to them let me know what you think.

Can u help with the strumming pattern
the pattern itself is demonstrated in the video.. the downbeat strokes start off staggered on the offbeat (the "and"s) , so initially it feels awkward until you get used to it. If this video isn't clear on the strumming , I can make another one focused on strumming...

it is not d2. it is in f... capo makes it harder
I never said it was in D.. The chords are in D form when you use a capo on the third fret. The chords listed in the video are the open form chords, as they are labeled in their open positions. This is how everyone labels chords , even when they are played higher up on a fretboard when capoed. The original artists uses a capo on this song to get the tone he is looking for.

Yes, the high E, needs to be D also, but it's not DADGAD. The second string doesn't get dropped to A ,it stays B, so it's DADGBD.
