I used to go out at Cape May New Jersey for flounder in the 90's . The Miss Chris with Captain Fred Ascoli. ( Hope I spelled his name right) Always caught fish! Once he couldn't find any flounder and took us out to a ship wreck. I caught a 5.5lb Sea Bass and won the pool money! He was the best Captain!

We used to catch Bluefish in the Chesapeake Bay, trolling w/ rubber tubes.... I didn't like their taste but catching them is fun! Man, hard enough fishing off of a bridge but having to put your pole around pipes/sign posts was crazy dedication!! To get a fish landed I'd be doing it too.... you must have hours/hours of footage. thanks for sharing

I spent 20 yrs working offshore, while I almost miss the money, I miss the fishing the most. Braided Dacron line 120 lb test with .040 piano wire for a leader, triple strength chrome vanadium hooks, the blue runners around the platform work well for bait ( bloody fish with tough skin, whole fish if they are small enough cut bait otherwise). Cobia ( ling )and trigger fish at night, makes excellent eating. Have fun

Yes, the Karen's of this world. Sad and miserable creatures who don't like other people enjoying their lives. I parked my car beside the river to go fishing, and part of my car was encroaching onto a walking path. Well, Karen didn't like that apparently, she had to deviate 2 feet so her and her dog could keep walking. But she must have taken a photo and complained to the local council. Some weeks later, the council has installed a rock barrier so I can't park next to the river. What the! Are they going to do the same for every meter of river frontage throughout the whole state? Karen's!
