You failed to tell what type hats they were. The one with the 3 pleat white hat ban was a tall crown Pork Pie in gray. The second was a tall crown Fedora also gray. Sinatra liked hats that made him appear taller. Another reason he liked them tilted back to give more height. I think I know more about his choices.

Your videos are just great. I am learning to shape hats using ones I have found second hand at Good Will etc. I have a Stetson gambler think came out real well and a really low rent Justin 4x cattleman crease hat that was battered badly. I steamed it looking for a cav hat look (I was in the 2d Cav) but I am going to try a heat gun since it is tough to change the original l shape - needs more work. Someday I hope to visit your store...

I re-creased my black Stetson Rancher into a Gus. It looks better now. That tall cattleman crease had to go. It made me look like John Travolta in Urban Cowboy. :(
