Can you make a tutorial video on how to fix the Neighborhood terrain texture because on my computer the terrain texture looks crappy, I heard there's supposed to be a cheat called "boolprop SimpleTerrain false" but this cheat isn't permanent when I exit the game.

Only real sims are sims 1 and 2

thank you in the year 2024! also for people who may also have this issue: my game folder didn’t have two graphics rules files, only the SGR file, I still used that one to open it on notepads and do the stuff and it still worked so don’t worry!

I have the Sims 3 and 4 downloaded on Origin but I recently bought a CD Drive reader and The Sims 2 Double Deluxe to play it again. Nothing beats the nostalgia of TS2 for me!

If the mod simshadows fix doesn't worke for you, you can also open the cheat box and type this in : boolProp simShadows false After you typed that in click enter. The black boxes should disappear now!

Finally I don't feel alone! When the Sims 3 came out I was so excited about it, and guess what? I felt disappointed because I didn't see any improvement over the TS2, in some cases it was even worst. To me TS2 is a round game ❤

yesss, perfectly summarized my thoughts about everything. Also just... sims in the sims 4 scare me.. They look like those creepy porcelain dolls or sth 😭 they're always smiling creepily unless they specifically emote in some random extreme way. I hate that smile so much, gives me major dystopian cult vibes. Brainwashed... I've recently started getting into the Sims 2. I've played the Sims 3 for well over a decade now so I've run out of content. The Sims 2 feels fresh and I prefer the family feel of progressing every households story myself. Playing rotational has been a blast 😊

i get 0 saves, my sims won't save, places i build won't save (lot placements save though) but i cant save at all no houses/ no buildings/ sims... nothing saves. also the resolution thing didn't work, and same with the (enumerateMultisampleLevels) that as well didn't work. also i get this horrendous screen flickering where my screen flickers black constantly. i found/ watched this video from looking up (sims 2 screen flickering fix)

Doesn't work I downloaded the community mod and had my sim leave to go to the plaza and she came back at the exact same time that she left plus their is a little warning sign next to the mod before the main menu is pulled up

But unfortunately, the resolution issue still exists. :( I followed your instructions to the letter, but I still only have the option '320x220' within the game's graphics settings. Where could I have gone wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I love The Sims 2 and forever will!

I only played sims 3 in my early teens and i really loved it, then I tried playing sims 4 in my 20ies and it didn't feel the same, the game was getting boring pretty fast and it didn't feel nostalgic at all, but now I tried sims 2 and mygod I feel like a kid again so excited to play a sims game after so many years 🥺 it literally made me smile and laugh so much within an hour of playing
