We shared what we experienced during our stay. Perhaps is not what you like or what you know. Our visit there was short but we loved so much that we thought to share what we saw in this beautiful island.

We crossed a La Mesilla, cause we have been told is less busy and chaotic. We definitely found it that way

In Kuta Lombok we haven’t see any Grab or Gojek. The most popular option and the one we recommend, is to rent a scooter, if you stay long term make sure to mention them cause you can get a deal. There are some private shuttle rides to most of the tourist spots. We prefer rent a scooter cause most of the places to visit are outside Kuta Lombok and even if you get a private taxi it would be more expensive to visit them.

For long term we recommend to get a Guest House, they usually go for 10/15$ per day. If you stay long term they will probably do a discount if you pay the entire month. Most of the Guesthouses don’t have a pool, which we really recommend to have if you go during the hot season, simply cause it’s nice to jump in and cool off. The beach is Kuta Lombok is not the best, to get on nicer beaches you have to drive 10/20 minutes. We really liked Palm Green and DreamCoWork these are cheap hotel for about 20/30$

We treated with anti mould outdoors wood stain and gap filled every hole to prevent water getting inside the bus

We are fully aware that Lombok is a Muslim country. Kuta Lombok is a surf/beach town everyone is pretty relaxed

We did ask about Senggigi but it was not available with the boat company we used. There are definitely taxis in Lombok but we didn’t see any in Kuta Lombok.

We paid about the same, this time of the year is the beginning of High season so everything will be a bit more expensive

Hey Jessica, we went in June for the full month. It supposed to be rainy season but it didn’t rain much honestly

Totally understand where you come from. We tried different warungs but at the same time we decided to try different types of food. Next time we dive deep into Indonesian food😊

We honestly like any kind of food. Sasha has gluten allergy so sometimes our choices are a but limited but we love to try local food wherever we go, whenever we can😊

@@gypseasontheroad Great! A little suggestion....show close up menus with prices.....and tell your viewers what they might get at what cost. Elaborate....explain. Go into the details....that's real informative! Nice photo shots and pictures.....a total waste of time....millions of those are already around. Be precise, the cost and value is what most people are interested in....not cheap blah blah. And yes....a Pizza is a Pizza.....look at real street food, even if you would never eat it! "Street food" is something else and they didn't mention street food - you also run the risk of Bali Belly, eating basic street food. So 10/10 for the suggestions given

Puoi fare delle escursioni da Kuta Lombok alle Gili, ci sono molte navette or tour organizzati che ti portano al Porto di Bangsal da li poi puoi prendere il traghetto per le Gili Il mio consiglio se vieni da Bali è fermarti prima alle Gili tanto il traghetto da Bali a Lombok si ferma alle Gili. Una volta visitate le Gili ti sposti a Lombok. Prendi un taxi dal porto di Bagnsal che ti porta a Kuta Lombok poi da li sti sposti in motorino. We try our best, definitely next time we are in Lombok we come visit Gili T. Unfortunately my last visit was when there was a big earthquake and I have to evacuate after one day😞

Yeah, it’s definitely our favourite beach. We can wait to get back there in November😊

Everything is changing now days. We didn’t know exactly the rules in Mexico but we always used common sense, being respectful when other people were around and be free when we were alone

We know there are private drivers in Kuta Lombok. As far as we know it’s not possible to hire a car.

​@@specialagentzeusyes you can. Heaps of car rental services available in Mataram city or near the airport. I did rent a car from the airport and drove myself to the next island of Sumbawa previously

Hi😊 we visited Lombok 3 times, last one in February. Are you planning to go?

Pleasure, crossing borders it’s a stressful process. We thought we could help people with this video. We crossed during the week, don’t remember exactly what day. We had our own insurance from Baja Bound which cover Central America. In Costa Rica it’s required to have a local insurance in the other countries its not required but we paid mostly because police use an excuse to get more money if you don’t have one.

Stefano extended is visa by going and the immigration office in Bali though. Lombok will have one in Mataram but we don’t have contact for it. Try online or once you are in Lombok simply ask your hotel they should know.

If you cross by land, you’d need a new certificate for each country. It’s easy and generally fast to do it at the money you enter in a new country. Some countries are not too strict but Nicaragua and Costa Rica are, if they catch you without certificate you get a fine.

Yeah we noticed the Pertamina Gas Station on the way to Tanjung Ann the second time we went to Lombok😊

Also in Senggigi, the main city of Mataram and few others. Guess she's only based around Kuta?

I did my course with world peace yoga school - also known as kundalini yoga ashram & samadhi ashram - its all the same school. I highly recommend them!!! You can search others thru bookyogateachertraining.com but i think there are not many other kundalini schools in rishikesh. Book world peace directly through their website, i think its cheaper. They even have videos on their youtube of classes that you can watch before booking

Our Favourite are Palms Green and DreamCowork Hotel. They are cheap, central, with nice rooms and swimming pools. Palms Green also has breakfast included in the price.
