If they want a Volvo suitable for Gr.4 and Gr.3 I can think of 2 options. Gr.4 could be the S60 WTCC car from mid 2000s. Gr.3 could be same car, same era but the S60 from V8 Supercars

I really wish they added the Volvo Estate race car, it would be unique to be racing all those cool looking racing cars with a estate wagon, and probably getting good track position, because it ruled back in the day.

Love the SiR, it used to be my go to starter car. Great bang for the buck. I'm really hoping the return of Volvo could mean that there's still a chance for Lotus to return since they're both Geely owned.

I own a 4.2 basic convertible 2006 with only 60k miles, never missed a beat and just normal servicing. 300 hp is plenty enough for anyone and the gurgle from exhaust sounds orgasmic, real head turner and more reliable than the bigger hp jags.

excited for the volvo return. I hope we get a S60R at some point. The modern S60 t6 with it's twincharged engine would be an interesting pick two, something a bit unique. Racing cars would be great too, though I don't expect those to come at all in gt's future
