Sat here 30+ min because it wouldn't jump. Finally figured out that it isn't grounded. Thought I wrote the code wrong. Long story short, I set the terrain Tag to grounded not the layer.... It wouldn't jump because it was never "grounded". 🤦♂

I'm glad I watched some videos before diving in with both feet as Koreographer isn't exactly inexpensive. I was looking at the Pro version with the understanding that it had actual BPM detection within it, but I guess that's not the case. It does have a lot of great features & it's still very much under consideration, but I have a bevy of tools for handling spectrum analysis, MIDI mapping, etc. already and will have to decide I _really_ need it before I buy it. Times are tough & money's tight, lol. [Update: after watching several other Koreographer vids, I'm very impressed with the tool set & will definitely be picking up the Pro version as soon as I can afford to. Great stuff!] Also, adding 3 seconds of silence is one way to do it, I suppose, but for anyone not wanting to muck up your audio files needlessly, I suggest using two audio sources; the player's (of course) and one that starts 3 seconds earlier (or however you need, really) on a separate mixer w/ the decibels floored to -80 & using that to generate your "beat objects". It worked great for me years back. Just my 2 cents, of course.

@@BlizStudio oh thank you , I just suggested because because I was trying to find a video with how we can create a home theater, or imax theater , make with unity for bigscreen VR , ands I never find it on CZcams, if you go to bigscreen in your oculus quest and goes to environment, and then goes to user environment , and you will see 4 new environment makes for users , in there you will see the instructions what you need to do this in unity app .. bigscreen only accepts environment only with unity .. one user make one theater and called Ark Max , it’s amazing .. another user makes a environment inside of airplane with screen each sit , and another user make a theater with neon blue , and anther inside a cave it’s lava called vulcano , and another make a studio . I hope you can help how we can create a theater using unity with the bigscreen protocols.. you can make any , just just we no to know the steep or how we can start to using unity and learn

Hello) Thanks for the lesson! Could you please explain in more detail how to prevent the BALL from increasing its speed by two or more times after a game RESTART? Pls help!
Easy way for a restart would be to use the "Restart Level" action which will just reload the scene from the very beginning as you originally launched it. Super easy. For levels, you can either generate the ball at the beginning or another way would just be to 0 the balls velocity before starting it back up again.

Here is the latest version which came out March 2024: assetstore.unity.com/packages/essentials/starter-assets-character-controllers-urp-267961. This contains both the 1st person and 3rd person versions.
Is there anyway to make the brush less blocky, higher resolution, like this it's terrible
Under the terrain settings (select terrain, then the gear icon in the inspector), you can increase the terrain texture resolution under the "Resolution" tab. you can set "Heightmap Resolution," "Detail Resolution," and "Control Texture Resolution."

What about adding custom controls like crouching, sliding or dashing
You can definitely add those for sure. The starter asset just gives you a base. Crouching, Sprint are already part of the controller. You can also add in sliding on top of the existing parts.

Hi guys so I am having an issue when using first person controller. I wanted to make a ui but it seems like I cant interact with it even when Ive pressed esc. When I press a UI button the cursor disappears again. Help would be highly appreciated
Does not work anymore! Materials stay pink (on Windows Unity 2022.3.11f1), only switch to "Standard Shader" works! No "Tools" menu, no working "First Person"-Prefab. One FPS-Controller is only for mobile input (miss I something in the one million possibilities to create, configurate and mess up a project?)..... this is PITA! Looks like Unity change system relevant functions, workflows and assets every f***ing version....

Wtf you do? Tje new Input system its an extra script, what you show is the Input selector.... Andnu use the Character controller, thats not in use of Player chars, only for NPC purpose... X.x) so, we dont lesrn nothing about the tittle video
