@@RideBikes_Walkplaces we love gisburn. We ride there about 6 times a year. We did gisburn last week so we decided to watch a CZcams video from gisburn. Yeah time flies yes. Now kids, wife etc. we can tell by kids.

Probably a bit worse more often!

So when you get to the plateau or just before if you look left at the hill ridge line there's a big dip in it. Go up the path to the left where the hill is at it's lowest!

You can actually see the path that goes left at 7:44 it heads to that dip in the hill you see on the horizon next to where it goes up again.

Haha! It's a slippery descent that one. That's the same descent as my newest video. It rides a bit better in the dry 👌

Have you done birkside or grisdale tarn descent from dollywagen to patterdale? I have themon video, absolutely sick descents! A nice bit of tech on them.

Hello and thanks for watching! It got a lot rougher after the 2012 flash floods in hebden, a river ran down it. You could argue it made it more exiting to ride though. Lol.

They've done some flood works but gor us it actually made it worse at our house! Mytholmroyd has just had a lot of work done so we'll have to see if that works. Tbh the topography of the land here means it'll be really hard to control flooding. But as a trend it does seem to be getting worse. I think it's a combination of factors.

By white wells car park, buddy. The trails are all over that hillside. We normally ride up the road and to the top right of the hill as you look at it

@@RideBikes_Walkplaces I've done most MTB trails around Tod, Hebden and beyond around Calderdale buddy but I can't go at them speeds over exposed tree roots and slide the back end out like you guys do. I did Gaddings again the other night from the White house and it was packed !!

@@MrDazP1adv3ntures gaddins is brilliant, some ace ways down from there. i like the steep one down to the pub, not done it in a while though. yeah ever since that newspaper article it's always packed in summer. good for the pubs though so we can't complain. unless they litter, then they're arse holes. anyways, if you do fancy meeting up in person, just give us a nod, it's be nice to get on a ride with ya.

@@RideBikes_Walkplaces Yes sure thing pal, There's a great single track down Langfield edge and to Jail hole with some sections impossible to ride ( nothing a stick of tnt wouldn't sort out) but it's a good little single track section.

where is that mate? is that the long flowy one that runs along the hill in front of gaddins and joins the path by the pub? if so you can ride it, you take a high line around the horrible rock section through the ferns and drop in just after it! it's steep though.
