About the mattress on the floor, one more practical thing, if you have heated floors, you are basically wasting energy by heating the mattress, which should be cool in the first place. You are doing yourself a double disservice. 😅

I live in upstate ny and we have drinking water. Bit there are states where the water table is low. So the pretty hidden water thing is an amazing idea. But if you live in ny state you can drink from your tap, unless you have a sulfer well then…., but in general we don’t need bottled water. Its literally boogie and a waste.

If i put a king comforter and duvet on my queen, i worry i will have cat fur balls all over edges of my comforter. If u use a bed skirt and use think blankets to make your bed looks full. I think that still works without buying a king. And espically if ur room is small. Idk. I just bought 100$ queen duvet and now questioing if i need to return for a king?

Every inch of this home is hideous. 100% too try-hard. It's a 50,000 square foot house, or whatever--it's obviously expensive. You don't need to scream your wealth from the literal rooftops. A little humbleness would go a long way.

Im in a small open apt where the living room is nice size and then step up into the bedroom area. I'm doing all neutrals beiges , tans, creams in bedroom mixed with some metal, wood and green plants.. Living area cream colored sofa and navy chair and some wood on one of the chairs and small round ottoman......I'm struggling on choosing a color for walls. I was thinking of the color call recycled glass a very light neutral-warm green. Or wheathered moss. I'm scared of blue walls. My kitchen cabinets are provence blue ( warm blue-green). I'm in Florida so I want a classy but beachy coastal feel. I need help choosing the right paint color they are neutral warm white and light beige right now.

Lighting is EVERYTHING! I'm too vain to have anything but the most flattering lighting in my entire home, but especially in the bedroom. Softsoap has this incredible new citrus scent. It smells so natural and delightful...and I HATE Softsoap. I'd also recommend sniffing your towels. More than once I've had to tell my friends that their towels smelled musty. It's a horrible smell and i don't know how people don't notice it, but apparently they don't.
