Tinikling with ifugao music. They are filipinos with ifugao costume. Bamboos are mostly use in philuppine dances.
wrong. Actually, this is a murut dance.
Nope..its called magunatip dance of the muruts(dayak tahol) people in sabah malaysia
i am murut.. n proud to be sabahan....
Murut dance..
agree
do you know of carbon dating? well modern tech reveals that filinoys are sui generis... they have malay and indonesian blood pero we dnt originat from them...
hebat dan sangat kreatif...terasa nak menari sekali
just let people enjoy the video, save the lesson in the classroom.
m doubt that we have a same resemblance.. m from india, in the north eastern part.. we did this same dance in every cultural occasions... it is believe that our ancestor are from some part of south east asia..
This is a dance Magunatip (Bamboo Dance) by the Murut in Sabah, Malaysia. This dance is a legacy passed down for generations from their ancestors. This dance tells the story of a knight went hunting human head. after the hero gets a human head, they will celebrate the heroes of this dance. even if it is the same with the dance in another country, but different story. nor is it just coincidence.
give credit my foot, shut up and just let other people enjoy the program. sheeesh. rolleyes.
It's one of Indonesia folk dance i think because this place is in maluku
Done claimed? It is from sabah malaysia..my tribe owned this dance..its called magunatip
Indians do this too
This is called tinikling
this is from Sabah...its called Bamboo..
so what's the big deal? why are argue about what's from where? you people are creepy! just enjoy it and dont be to obsessed with origins and crap!
some chinese from the south also have bamboo dances, probably from the austronesians
why would we get our bamboo dances from malaysia or indonesia? bamboo dances are a staple of austronesians & the austronesians spread from taiwan to the philippines to other countries. we didn't come from them, they more likely came from us
PUNYA BIDAK TU MLYU ADA SANA...MCM SAKAI JAK NI AKU TGOK
INI KALILAH SABAHANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
HIDUP KEDAZAN DUSUN.............
From what I have seen so far, it seems that bamboo dances are prevalent throughout Southeast Asia and even eastern India. Borneans/Sabahans has this one, Filipinos has a few like the Tinikling and Singkil, Thais, Khmers, Vietnamese and Indians like Mizo and Assamese.
I like the Philippines. So magic dances!
i dont think this is from philippine
It look Like the sabahan ...East Malaysia
well, it may not originated from the Philippines, but by the looks of this performance in particular, it's costume, it's like they're from Ifugao (an ethnic tribe in the Philippines) And yeah, one commenter is right.. U wanna give credit? Why not give it to Adam and Eve? PROUD TO BE A HUMAN (that'll be more safe LoL)
Now Shut up and watch.. Be proud if your an asian! It doesnt matter where it is originated .. Let the researchers handle it :)) (but it is more likely to be originated in the phillipines .. i have read already books of dances).
Stop blabbing.. we're ASIAN, just be proud of that! This is originally from Asian~ :)
I've tried this one because i'm dusun in race <3 WOAH i never get so pro like them, i know only very basic.. hehe it's good to lose weight :D
its true, thats the new research.
i think, every malay nation (philippines, malaysia, indonesia) has the claim to this dance. this dance is practiced even before these 3 countries were formed.. let's just be proud and appreciate that our countries' different ethnic groups were able to preserve it.
@ctg21361 why would we get tinikling from malaysians & indonesians when they came from us? also southern china, taiwanese aboriginals, vietnamese & some northern indians also have bamboo dances. but bamboo dance is more widespread in the philippines & seems to have originated from there.
