You can tell that what the AFN did to Ofili at Paris for not registering for the 100m was intentional. Listening to the story, apparently, there has bad blood between Ofili and the AFN since 2021. I am pretty sure what they did to her was payback, unfortunately, they didn’t think about Nigeria as a whole, they were just being petty. At the same we don’t know the whole story, because the news in some sectors in the athletic department is saying Ofili is difficult to deal with and doesn’t listen to any Nigerian official besides her American coach.
