Partick Thistle F.C. - Forever and Ever...
zhlédnutí 38KPřed 11 lety
Football has changed. It's changed beyond all recognition. The halcyon days may be over but we still love this game. Today, clubs in Scotland don't just compete with the old firm for attention they compete with global brands and this applies to Thistle as much as anyone else. But we're also different at Thistle, because for us the real currency is the fan, not SKY Sports and that's exactly why ...

Christmas is a very special time of year. It's a time when people travel from near and far to spend time with their families and friends. We like to think that we're a family here at Firhill and we're hoping to welcome home as many of our extended Thistle family as possible to our Boxing Day fixture with Morton. Saturday's 3-2 win over Raith Rovers means Thistle fans across the globe can sit do...
Partick Thistle FC - Return of the Red & Yellow
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 11 lety
There is something special deep down inside every Partick Thistle person; something that sets them apart from the herd. For the last 77 years there has been a visible, tangible, sign of that difference. On Saturday January 19th 1935 at Tynecastle Park Edinburgh, a Partick Thistle side wore the colours of red and yellow, the colours that have helped distinguish us from the rest of Scottish Footb...

Partick Thistle FC - Scottish League Cup Winners 1971
zhlédnutí 18KPřed 12 lety
On 23rd October 1971, Partick Thistle created nothing short of a major sensation in the football world when in the Scottish League Cup Final they demolished the all-conquering Celtic team of that period by four goals to one. Having led by an incredible 4-0 at half time! The names run ever so easily off every Thistle tongue: Rough, Hansen, Forsyth, Glavin, Campbell, Strachan, McQuade, Coulston, ...

That’s bloody Watford and QPR you blind gits!
I remember the Thistle team from " the Wee Red Book " when I was a kid. Good to see coloured footage of the game. Some great goals 👏 well done Thistle 👏
❤️💛🖤
Brilliant, I was there with my mates, 15 at the time, but they were mainly celtic fans, we were facing the main stand, the thistle fans were mainly in the small elevated stand behind me. I couldn't celebrate the goals or occasion till later, had my scarf in my pocket. At four nil and the tic support were getting restless, thank god my mates did not dob me me in, but what a day it was. Mon the jags
Best video of all time mon the Jags❤️💛🖤
My dad loved the Jags.
Absolutely love this video. Not even a jaggie. (Well I'm an ICT jaggie ha ha). It's fantastic when the 4th goal goes in against Celtic in 71. The commentator can't believe it either. Just magic 😍
The last day of 2019, and great to watch this (again). I wish a great 2020 to Thistle fans everywhere, and also to all the decent fans of other clubs.
Thanks for sharing! Amazing result, amazing day. They deserved it. Celtic never got off first base. Scottish football badly needs the smaller teams (with all due respect to Thistle) to start winning things again.
TBone. You’re an arse
It's Bone, he puts the ball in the net it's 4-0. Brilliant commentary by the late great Arthur montford.
Sad to say 18 months of total decline. I was there on Saturday with my two sons so sad to see as poor a team as I have seen in 40 years and Jacqui Low is still in charge.
I watch this religiously
forever and ever in the championship
Celtic is the team for me but seriously fair play partic, we may be rivals but doesn’t mean your a bad team. Fair play.
God bless you Thistle refressing to see a team that represent a lovely country...London Irish Celtic fan...
Bye bye tinpot pricks enjoy the lower division and take your smelly ugly left wing student prick fans with you 🖕🏻🇬🇧🖕🏻

Great wee vid great soundtrack, I am a Celtic fan was not at this game I was 9 it was a great footballing story I was not at the game . I was playing for my boys club came only to be told by my old man it was 4 nil Ht to Thistle and promptly burst into tears.Credit to thistle they beat a great Celtic team but there was some no bad players in the thistle line up. I think we got revenge a few weeks later winning 5-1 in the league. A great era for Scottish football
Celtic were cheated by a Hun ref
toneyabone Aren't they always?
Fred Sebring they are according to Celtic fans u weren't cheated u were outclassed
Always a Tim’s excuse
Sadly predictable.
Get your head out ya bum buddy.
Well done to Thistle, such shocks must always be a part of football. Great day for Jags fans. Well done HH

Youre team didnae fukface.
Excellent stuff. Buchanan had a good season!
Was there that day with my father (a lifetime Jags fan) who had seen the Jags win the Scottish cup in 1921, This 71 side was a fabulous Thistle team managed by a true Thistle legend Davie McParland.
Bring tears tae a glass eye: my dad and my brother's ashes are buried in the goal line at the old Garscube Road end and they are there forever as is my heart!!!!!!!!!!!
put together really well, I was 10 years old and remember this so clear
Who is the top scorer of all time?
Your maw
Billy McIntosh typical unintelligent response from a typical Moronic spaz from Glasgow
