Picked up a well used pro moto a couple days ago. Figured we’d finish tear it up while learning how to drive it before a tear down and rebuild! These things are sick! It definitely a challenge but a very very fun one while being rewarding at the same time.

2008 Mazda Speed 3 Resonators & Muffler Delete

Front to back. Original Cadillac converters an O2 sensors left in place, deleted the two resonators and muffler with straight pipe. This will allow the O2 sensors to still do their jobs and not affect air fuel ratio is causing the car to run lean. But will also give you a much better tone.  Inside the cab, there is no drowning or loud noises. It’s very quiet still.

Agreed, had someone in my college use emery cloth and gloves and it ripped his middle finger off and pulled out the tendon following up to his shoulder, was flapping around in the machine afterwards

@@squipplesquipples We personally get them from Holcomb Hobbies off Facebook but you can get them used on Facebook market place. These are called Tekno EB48

Nice, should’ve turned the camera back towards the bike after you dismounted. That would’ve been a great way to end the video. Otherwise that was awesome. My Son will be getting him on 01/31/23

I am a few months in too , the sims help dont they :) But crashing and fixing quads becomes a big part of it hahaha , and finding them in the grass when you didnt set up your beeper (speaking for myself) haha All great fun though hey

this is great Justin thanks for sharing. really feel stacyc should be doing better things by now. the grips are just terrible. if only they can at least make the throttle tube same size as mx, so we can just replace them easily.... Im also looking into disk brake upgrade. do yo have any other update info or tips after one year? my 2.5 yo kid is on the 12e now. thanks
Do you need to paint or do anything after Vapor blasting so it doesn’t rust?
I personally do not. I have a Deoxidizing solution in my vapor blaster that fights against corrosion

@@Sw_55 My other one have 2018 kx100 front and rear shock. Front basically bolts right up. Rear take a little work. Join the Facebook group klx140 owners group. I added some file in there that show you how to do the swap.

Yes it is. But maybe you have a newer model bike?? Yes they are. Just regular dirt bike grips.

There are no after market companies that make them. You have to buy OEM plastics or convert the front fender to a KX85 fender like the one in the video. 👍🏼
Is that Mika bar pad from the PW series? I’m guessing it’s sized better than the full size pads.

Great video. FYI you can move those spacers, just put one on top above the stem to make up for the extra length on the fork. adjust as he grows. (its the same on bicycles and mtn bikes) - thanks for posting the video, i'm about to buy one for my son and daughter. (im a big MX guy)

What did u do to mod the air box?
Took the boot out of the top. Also took the inner wall out and removed the back fire screen. Just make sure you keep a clean air filter.
