If it’s possible I’ll just run the stock carb. BBR was using a kehin 28mm in their custom 140 build with 170cc kit with custom intake. BBR website carb kits are out of stock so might run the stock carb in the mean time. Anything else recommend?
I just swapped KX85 forks on mine, they came off a 05 KX85, i used the triple clamps, forks, brake line and caliper. Wheels on KLX are same as KX so no need for wheels. Only thing i had to do is add a washer ontop of the aluminum lock nut to suck up a little gap between nut and top clamp. I also swapped on the rear shock, had to flip the triangle link to get the rear ride height right. Also if you have a 140L the lower longer shock clevis will swap right onto the KX85 shock to get shock eye to eye length right, you gain a few inches of travel also.
What do you mean by the longer lower shock clevis? Just got a 140 and want to swap the forks. I have heard they fit and I have heard to not even waste my time and money. It’s a 2008 klx140l. Please help
I wanna see a bike tour!!! And more bike vids
I love the vids bud there really cool made me want a 140
Johnathan Hatcher Man I love the 140’s! So much fun and still slow enough to not get hurt to bad. Hopefully 😂
And yes please do a vid on the bike it self
Looks like fun! I have a Kawasaki 85cc, but is has a racing big bore kit in it, so it’s pretty much a 125. It’s a 2 stroke though.
Does this have the kx85 shock or is it still stock
It’s has the 85 shock
Thanks
Great build which asv clutch lever are you using?
James Gorman not sure.. it for a kx85/100
