Captain William Mbaho provides wonderful suggestions about exploring and reconnecting with one's cultural heritage and he identifies challenges and obstacles to exploring and embracing his roots here in Canada. Further, he expresses how strong connections to his roots and embracing multiculturalism will have a positive influence on future generations to build a more inclusive and understanding community. I hope that you enjoy his presentation as much as I did!

Thank you, PCHC-MoM. The Laurier Institution greatly appreciated the opportunity to collaborate on this event with your organization, along with the Knowledge Network, the Chinese Canadian Historical Society of BC, SFU's Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, and the Chinese Canadian Museum (CCM). The CCM did a great job shouldering much of the logistical burden, and SFU Harbour Centre's event support was terrific. The panel discussion was very stimulating. The moderator, Gwendolyn (Wendy) Yip, and the two speakers -- Musqueam Elder Larry Grant and writer/director Kevin Eastwood -- offered illuminating insights after the live screening. I hope that many people will see episode 1 and the entire series of this remarkable documentary, "BC: An Untold History". It is a fantastic film. Thank you, Kevin Eastwood and team, for creating this magnificent film and thank you, Knowledge Network, for presenting it.

I throughly enjoyed this talk today. I am on a quest to learn more about my immigrant parents and their contributions to our collective Asian Canadian history. Thank you Dr. Vivienne Poy for your dedication. Thank you Catherine Clement for your advice about using old photographs to prompt more insight. I am sure this will help my Dad remember so much more. Dr. Henry Yu interviewed my husband for his stories about Asian Canadian Farmers. I am fascinated and overwhelmed by all the amazing information that is readily available for me to access as I do my research. Looking forward to being a part of this wonderful community of storytellers, researchers, historians. Thank you All!
