My Journey, My Roots - In Conversation with Lauren Benson

To celebrate International Women's Day, we hosted an Instagram Live session of My Journey, My Roots with Lauren Benson. Lauren's family recently discovered a new piece to their Ukrainian heritage when a distant relative knocked on their door. In the 1980s, Lauren's grandma’s cousin visited Canada with her father from Ukraine. 30 years later, she returned by herself using only a handwritten note with Lauren's grandma's address.
