I did the opposite. I lived in São Miguel my first 21 years and have been in USA for almost 30 years. I miss the Azores basically everyday. Azores is part of my being forever. And this is one of the reasons I enjoy watching your videos. It takes me home 😍

Hi Rosie just came back from there I had an amazing time such beautiful scenery i understand your saying about having lived part of your young life here even dough Canada is now expensive to live it’s still better then there part of you will always be here but living there is very nice too too bad the salaries are not higher there is a lot of tourism but it’s making harder for the locals food in some restaurants is more then double from 2018 when I left I asked for you but they said you were off keep up the great work you do ❤

Rose, I’ve commented before on past videos but can’t emphasize enough how much I envy you and your lifestyle. Not sure how old you were when you left Canada but you did the right thing. Canada was a great place to immigrate to especially for our Portuguese immigrants who came here and left Salazar’s Portugal for a better life. Ironically in the past 20 years or so, things have reversed. Portugal including the Azores has surpassed Canada for quality of life and that’s why many are returning. Waiting for the right circumstances and will move there too. Hopefully then, I’ll learn to male CZcams videos as good as you about life in the Azores and give you a little competition. Just kidding. Your videos are hard to beat and you’re super photogenic. Thanks again Rose for another great video and reinforcing my desire to move there.

São Miguel is beautiful including its many beaches. Never seen this one before. It’s so cute. I will put it into my itinerary next time we visit. My family was from São Roque. There’s some nice beaches there too. You could add them to some future vlogs and you will have a chance to increase your tan lines. This festival was always my favourite when I lived there. It used to be every 2 years but it was changed to yearly which is great. I'm going in August this yr so sadly, I missed it.
