one day i was a little girl and went to myrtle beach solely for this magiquest. i talked about it on the entire drive there. i was walking along broadway with my little wand and went right up to the door. closed. i cried and cried and cried.

For what reason was this dubbed into Japanese?? Is there any potential of magic quest coming to Japan!? Living there now and this would be a connection of 2 worlds that I never thought I needed 😂

Thank you for archiving this. Myrtle Beach MagiQuest was my childhood. I went back this evening, devastated it has been replaced with a new mini-golf flat.

I'm pretty sure this is the same as, if not 90% similar to, the preshow that would play at Williamsburg GWL. That ending line at 4:50 used to stick out in my brain as really funny lol

Wait if your making a MagiQuest Onilne Redo are you gonna add the Live Action MagiQuest Game with the system cuz there is another remake called MagiQuest (Evergreen) and it's possible that every GWL Will have Evergreen someday maybe even Chronicles (2.0) will get replaced with Evergreen even Legacy Locations will be replaced with Evergreen so pretty soon ALL Of Legacy will be removed so hey if you successfully complete this MagiQuest Onilne Redo we will all be grateful if you fall to complete it who knows what might happen Only you can save the World of MagiQuest Magi! Legacy….I miss it.

Only ever got to go here once. I’m really sad that it ended up getting closed. It’s one of my favorite memories of going to Myrtle Beach with my family. My dad and I played for hours using a wand I got at Great Wolf Lodge. From what I can gather, it wasn’t too long before it closed either. When I came back, it was no longer open and I actually cried because I was so excited to play it again. I would have so much fun if it were still around today. I spent most of my time playing Magiquest rather than swimming at my most recent trip to Great Wolf Lodge. I’d be so cool to play in a bigger space like this again… at least the one I specifically remember. Now I have two (ig three) defunct Myrtle Beach attractions to be actually sad about…

So, did this ever come out? Genuinely curious.

This makes me feel so nostalgic, although I have never been to the Myrtle beach location. I wish I could’ve gone when I had the chance, it’s deeply upsetting to see the myrtle beach location becoming nothing but rubble and memories. The Pigeon Forge location looks nice too.

Seriously the fun part about this tech is that they’re using gameplay like this (using similar interfaces) at Dragon Quest Island in Japan. They use keychains with rfid’s as the wand but it still uses sets with screens just like this.

All with a common goal!

Always appreciate your preservation efforts for this experience that made up my childhood. Keep up the amazing work <3

I remember this place at Broadway at the Beach as I went with my mom and my sister when we went to play at this place. As Great Wolf lodge has these installed. As for Waccamaw Factory Shopps is a area that needs to be demolished in Fantasy Way where the Free Style Music Park was as that will become a Fed Ex distribution hub. The property of the former Waccamaw Factory Shopps should be a new location for a new Magiquest and a new Puff the Magic Dragon themed restaurant as that be awesome along with the Mid Evil Times which be awesome in Fantasy Way for Myrtle Beach visitors.

When I listen to Cartouche I can't help but think of Myrtle because of this video. It's really impressive how Creative Kingdoms was able to make such an interconnected and huge feeling world out of a building that used to be a butterfly pavilion. Also shoutouts to QNN for this report

I had a very faint memory of passing by a store on the upper levels of Mall of America that was a sort of early vr game that reminded me of Wizards101. It’s been over a decade but I’m glad I finally figured out what that place was.

Just went to MagiQuest in Pigeon Forge. I hadn't heard of it before, I am an adult, it was so much fun! I'm sad to be reading that all stand alone locations are closed.

I already missed Magiquest for a couple of years now. I actually returned to Myrtle Beach this past Thursday, and it has been torn down for the new Key West section, it’s all done!

You're a legend for getting all this footage before closing so these locations never truly die. Thank you.

I seriously don't get why another company hasn't came in and made a spiritual successor to MagiQuest as MagiQuest itself was bought out and the best location closed down.. With modern day tech, the popularity of games that are played out in the world on your device like Pokemon go for example and even augmented reality tech coming into it's own in recent years I feel like it would be easier than ever for other companies to make attractions like this, and make them better than was ever possible before.

This was so good. If this is the original legacy version, it looks like it had a lot more than the legacy in Great Wolf Lodge locations these days. It looks so fun and engaging too.

MagiQuest needs an MMORPG since not everyone can go to a Great Wolf Lodge or any locations solely dedicated to MagiQuest

I did magiquest in great wolf lodge

I just came across this video. Me and my family visited the myrtle Beach location back in 2008 maybe. I had the best time. We recently went to a great wolf lodge and I was telling my family about my experience at this location. I was so disappointed in the GWL magiquest. It's a pale comparison to what myrtle beach location had. It was such a better experience

I play in concord hate I joined late and missed myrtle beach it’s crazy all times I been to myrtle had no clue was even there I have ton of wands I’d like know what’s on them but idk how get them active they try charging 15 a wand just to play
