MagiQuest Investor Video - 2005

- This video was given to investors who may be interested in purchasing installs of the game, it contains very old footage of the Myrtle Beach location (Note the hover crystals without safety covers, unpainted effects and stations, etc). If this footage looks somewhat familiar it is because Lagunasia made a dubbed promotional video version.
This upload was ripped straight from the investor DVD, minus cleaning up the half interlaced mess (and whatever CZcams does to it) it is untouched.
Arguably bad cam scan of the cover art and booklet: imgur.com/a/QQ...

I'm heading to Myrtle Beach during the summer. I miss Magiquest so much especially helping fellow Magi, talking to the employees (Questmasters), wearing my Magi costumes even though I never worked there, helping out with beta testers and those from Creative Kingdoms, and just having a lot of fun! Thank you for the nostalgia and fond memories we all had playing the game!
Head out to Pigeon Forge, they have great staff out there who I'm sure would enjoy meeting an old school player. For that matter you should stop by the MQ Discord some time, the community is very much still alive and well.
R.I.P
Myrtle Beach
@@basilchapmanlftwhat?
Pretty sure the Myrtle beach location closed down
Yes it did many years ago unfortunately.@@basilchapmanlft
I did magiquest in great wolf lodge
😫
This makes me feel so nostalgic, although I have never been to the Myrtle beach location. I wish I could’ve gone when I had the chance, it’s deeply upsetting to see the myrtle beach location becoming nothing but rubble and memories. The Pigeon Forge location looks nice too.
needed that hit of nostalgia, thanks my distant ally
More to come my dude.
I wish the Myrtle beach location was still around. I want to see the crypt! So bad anyone know a location that has it?!
Its gone outside of future virtual recreations. About your only hope would be if Pigeon Forge decided to add it, but they may have a hard time getting permission.
@Olivia V. I released a playable Xavier already, search the subreddit and you should find it
This was so good. If this is the original legacy version, it looks like it had a lot more than the legacy in Great Wolf Lodge locations these days. It looks so fun and engaging too.
I bet this place became popular during the Harry Potter craze.
I had a very faint memory of passing by a store on the upper levels of Mall of America that was a sort of early vr game that reminded me of Wizards101. It’s been over a decade but I’m glad I finally figured out what that place was.
I seriously don't get why another company hasn't came in and made a spiritual successor to MagiQuest as MagiQuest itself was bought out and the best location closed down.. With modern day tech, the popularity of games that are played out in the world on your device like Pokemon go for example and even augmented reality tech coming into it's own in recent years I feel like it would be easier than ever for other companies to make attractions like this, and make them better than was ever possible before.
I have plans, but plans take money.
I have a question.... is pigeon forge gonna be closed in the future? Since myrtle beach was closed and magiquest now belongs to great wolf resorts, is pigeon forge pretty much doomed too? Thanks!
Pigeon Forge has worked out deals and played smart in a way that should allow them to stay open for quite some time, if they close it will be purely for financial reasons.
This game attraction needs a sequel
