I've been wearing Doen since the beginning of the brand. Highly recommend! One of the few brands to use french seams in their construction - they are well made and worth the price. The designs have a timeless feminine appeal. Love the Quinn especially on you - purchase one of their nude slips for underneath the sheer dresses. I just picked up the Vita dress in their Hand Me Doen sale - you might like the style of that one for summer.

im with you i cant stand sheer dresses, even in the summer. it's 2024 we can have lightweight flowy and NOT sheer! lol. but these are beautful, i like the quinn best! great tips too on how the line works and no sales, etc. really helpful for me. ty doll

It's the fact that all of these look like they would fit a bigger bust with a small waist! I'm a size small with a C cup so I struggle sm with having to size up for my chest or stay tts to fit my waist 😭

suggestion: don't replace all the buttons for the alaia sweater, just get a cute different button for the missing one and make it a mini statement, kind of like a wabi sabi philosophy. you can even choose which button to replace with the new one. to make it even more special maybe you can use a button from some special old family garment, or just get a luxurious dainty gold button to go with your jewellery. in this way you'll keep the authenticity of alaia buttons and also add something unique and special or sentimental
