I don't think throwing your shoes away after one summer is very French and conscious. I bet they buy quality shoes that last longer.

It's definitely not very durable to throw away your pair of shoes after 1 summer. Moreover, buying something in Paris doesn't mean it's going to last you long nor that it's good quality
