- When it comes to fashion, few do it better than the french girl who embraces her natural beauty, dresses to look effortlessly chic and above all just wants to have a good time.
Founder of Rouje, Jeanne Damas has taught me so much about French Girl Style, a philosophy which translates well to her clothing. I started following Jeanne on Instagram in 2018, at the height of her Instagram career. Her photos from that time, when she had longer hair and all she seemed to do was travel around Europe, are my favorites to this day. I love how feminine and relaxed she was, how much fun she seemed to be having, and how she always looked effortlessly fabulous. Long messy hair, blurry red lipstick, summer dresses with no bra, basket bags filled with summer accoutrements-it paints a picture of joy.
Her clothing reflects this style philosophy. I’ve owned a bunch of Rouje clothing over the past few years and I always find that it was designed to be worn. Spill red wine on your summer dress? No biggie, the pattern hides the stain. Need to climb over a fence while picnicking in the park? No problem.

So pretty what is your dress size rouje?
34 or 36 and I’m usually a size 4 US and generally a size S. I find Rouje dresses are forgiving-they’re often cut on the bias and expand to your shape
