Imagine being someone who'd NEVER seen Ireland before, much less St. Patrick's statue.. ST Patrick's CONTEXT is in & WITHIN the LANDSCAPE .. Here it LOSES it's CONTEXT & CONNECTION.. . TOO MUCH SWIRLING AROUND ST.PATRICK'S HEAD MADE ME DIZZY.. Would have been SO MUCH BETTER for the CAMERA to have LOOKED UP and AROUND & FOCUSED on TAKING in & INCLUDING the SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE .. ST PATRICK'S CONTEXT is in & WITHIN this LANDSCAPE ..

I think this is the Ancestral home of the rigdamani named MacDuiinsliehbi of the DalFiatach. This family ruled Uladia for the last 600 years before the Normans invaded! They were a Irish medical family. This would have been lake fortress/home to hundreds of people a very large family of great wealth . A garden paradise of highest nobility designed to serve a very learned Tuatha
