It's high time we all the nagas as an individual to community need to reform nagaland in every aspects from social to economic to political to religions from the politicians to underground to churches to youths and parents. As in present scenario We are heading towards disunity among tribes let alone tribes even between vill or areas within particular tribe. Majority n minority superiority the have n the have not complexity. The vvip culture of politicians n officers need to be stop(public should know firstly they are our representatives n holding the offices to be responsible to cater our needs n to better the society they are there for us in other words they're our(gov servants ),Youths with unemployment topping with Drugs n intoxicants issues resulting in this kind of madness. It's really saddening n Disgusting. We should be done away with the pride in might this is not the monarchy era. The mushrooming factions of underground need to realize their common objectives n rather unite themselves first before us even getting independence without which even after the independence all we will witness is disunity. The nagaland govt so miraculous not having opposition parties the hohos,unions especially the Student bodies the churches ngos the media n public should be the watch dog and pointing out the drawbacks n corruption rather than being the dogs of politicians. The gbs n village council should come up with the unified naga customary laws so as to ensure justiciable Judiciary. It's high time also to implement such laws regarding the influx of plains the so call Mia Manu the amount of employment opportunities the nagas can have driving out this outsiders seizing all the markets from business to labor sector. Whereas also the nagas need to inculcate in us the attitude of hardwork n sincerity because when asked on why the higher ups are so much interested in employing n preferring the mias the above said are the two main factors. My opinion is that there should be rather 70:30 ratio from the employers side also dat way the percentage of unemployment will Atleast cut down to some extent. Everyone should give preference to our fellow naga brothers and sisters from low to high level of works. That's how we can build each other also it's my humble request to the media to be the light the media has played a huge role from centuries therefore the media should continue to be fearless n just. And the public to realize their power in their voices against the wrong and as such should raise their voice.

PRESS NOTE With the long awaited poll to the Municipal/Town Council elections 2024 scheduled on Wednesday the 26th of June 2024, the State Election Commission (SEC) expressed satisfaction at the overall preparation undertaken so far. While extending appreciation to all the election machinery involved in the electoral process, the Commission informed that it is continuously monitoring the election related activities in Municipal/Town Council areas going to the poll. Reiterating the call for free, fair and peaceful election, the Commission expressed appreciation to various NGOs and the Tribal Bodies for joining in the appeal for conduct of a fair and peaceful election. The State Election Commissioner informed that 523 candidates, with 198 females and 325 males, are in the fray in 24 Municipalities spread across 214 wards. A total of 223636 electors (Male-110115 & female-113521) will decide the fate of the contesting candidates. The Commission conveyed best wishes to all the Candidates. Further, the State Election Commissioner appealed to all the electors to enthusiastically participate in this democratic exercise. While expressing the hope that the election would be conducted in a peaceful atmosphere, the SEC cautioned that it would not shy away from initiating appropriate legal action against anyone or group that vitiates the same.
