ULB Election 2024 Common Platform for Ward 13, Lower Chandmari, Kohima was organised by the Lower Chandmari Youth Organization in collaboration with Panchayat Lower Chandmari Colony & GB today.
K. Asangla Jamir, NDPP Candidate in her speech maintained that the colony has been divided into 6 blocks where all necessities differ from each other. She therefore assured to look into the matter accordingly with consultation of colony Panchayat and youth.
She also assured to construct a footstep in Tina block as the footstep is in a very deplorable condition.
She also highlighted her concern for drainage systems, Water scarcity problems, solar light etc.
She also assured to work with both of her opponents that whoever wins or loses will work together for the benefit and upliftment of the colony.
Thejanuo Whuorie, NPP Candidate has highlighted the need to build a Primary Health Centre by donating her land. She also assured to give vocational training and skills development in the field of electricians.
Khobonuo Lily Zaphu, Independent candidate highlighted her concern for a multi-purpose building for recreational centres and parking lots.
For empowerment of youth and women, she emphasized on the need to upon public libraries for the aspirants candidates. Also skills development training for the youth and women.
She also emphasized on the importance of focusing on Entrepreneurship where the youth can independently work and bring economic development.
Some of the highlights include; car tag for colony, geotag enrollment with proper house number tracking system, promoting cultural heritage etc.
All the three women candidates have desires to make the colony a model ward in Kohima. Whoever wins or loses, they have decided to work together for the welfare of the colony.

A capable candidate from other tribes are outsider give a chance for better kohima a better diversity for everyone.
It's a Municipal body a repetitive candidate without any false promise and a practical solution from grassroots is needed now. Those multi max level of MLA level is out of box for a ward.
Work together even after ulb elections for better ward is the best in this ground zero process.

It's a basic political battle ground not forgetting political party play important role at the end.
Don't blam your candidate if it's not from a majority party seat occupied to form Municipal body in first place. Secondly be practical and believe what can take place under this Municipal from grassroot basics needs for better ward. For all this you need to win as well as your party should form majority under Municipal chairs to function accordingly like a mini MLA house.
It a starting battle ground once you fail it's impossible to come again in this grassroot arean.
A starting journey catch the correct path Give your best for your ward from bottom and come up to bigger platform.

Chief minister of nagaland mr Rio has been n chair for more than twenty years bt our capital s worst amng the Indian states.if ruling govt cnt develops own capital it's vry impossible for other districts to develop.

Lily you cover up 5 to 6 pages almost 20 minutes we stood there it was good for an MLA leve but practically for Municipal representatives at that note is not that practical to be frank. I was informed time duration was for 7 minutes but it went beyond kind of some favoritism for being youngest should have grap that time with practical possible grassroot work would have been better.
