Do the fans deserve such nonsense? Definitely not. Just because a few idiotic people with a lot of money think we need to reinvent the Star Wars universe. KK and her minions have done a great job again and produced some unbelievable rubbish. But to be honest, after 12 years of nonsense, nobody cares about Star Wars anyway.

3M has a spray that removes glue residue from stickers. I advice to put it on a piece of cloth and use the cloth to remove the glue residue. Tnx for the tip Terry 👍

1. When did HT start doing that? 2. Why did they put it on the front of the box? 3. I thought the hazards were already printed on the back of the box? 4. Why does a toy made for adults even need this? 5. My chicken wings didn't come with a choking hazard warning sticker? 6. Yeah that's how I did it with my TVC collection back in the day. That first peel was always the scariest, getting your nail under there without marring the card.

Tiny amount of goo gone on a cloth, rub on and wipe with clean dry cloth. Like new.

Art supply stores sell little square adhesive removers, usually near the rubber cement. They work very well.

That's a pretty damn good pose. I was thinking of a pose like this but I'm still a little standoffish with the pleather suite. At the moment I just have him in a slightly menacing museum pose.

Nice. Sometimes when there's sticky adhesive leftover on the surface, I use a piece of tape to lift it off the surface. Usually a box tape as opposed to regular scotch tape. Carefully and patiently of course.

I enjoyed the discussions about the Alien films of which I am also a big fan of most of the films. The pose you chose to go with for Vader DX28 is definitely not an easy one to do in a short time-frame on a Stream. The wire hiding making it even more time consuming (obviously) on this newer design for the lighting features. But it was helpful to me to see how you went through the steps of plugging them in as you were working on the pose. I have this figure and have yet to dive into posing him myself with these new plug-in light up features. Patience, as you said is the key to posing. However, if it begins to run out, I'll mash these two topics from your stream together, and tell myself, "It's ok. Cause in my sandbox, no one can hear me scream."

great stream Terry! really enjoyed it, and in regards to your last comments, these videos are really fun to watch either one is able to have the figure you are posing or not, this is a hobby and as such I personally enjoy every video out there which shouldn't be taken out of the context of simply enjoying what we do for the enthusiasm of it!

Even though I don't advocate for purchasing Nikon products, Terry, find yourself a 50mm f/1.4, either mirrorless or adapted. I know you were just saying you prefer to stop down to get more in focus, but the 1.4 is a great balance as a portrait lens between blowing out the backgrounds and NOT blowing out your walled (like a f/1.2 would do).

On the GI Joe topic, I did start with the cartoon (Transformers, also). I was exactly the demo they were going for. A few years later, I just randomly saw a GI Joe comic at a drug store and convinced my mom to get it for me. It was Issue #50, and I read it probably 3-4 times that night. It was like the "clouds parting for the sun" moment, and I was all in.

Esta debe de ser una de las figuras más decepcionantes y malas de los ultimos lanzamientos de HotToys.... Padme Amidala tien serios problemas como: 1.- Proporcion del cuerpo : No se parece en nada 2.-Talla del vestuario : la figura anda con un XXL de talla... sobre todo en los pantalones! 3.- Calce del vestuario : la linea final de caida y calce es pesima por la calidad mala del cuerpo utilizado (a la que se le suma el tamaño grande d ela ropa) 4.- rostro por "default" tipico de Hot Toys... AHi que entrar a modificar mucho esta figura para arreglarla...

Question the barrel to the AK-47 to the Knightmare Batman broke off, I was wondering if you could give any advice how to repair it. I’m concerned I won’t be able to glue it straight with such a tiny diameter.

i think that bigger, lower-sitting shoulder pads wouldve solved the majority of people’s issue with the look of the figure. hunter’s sit more high and horizontal than the other commandos in the show. otherwise you are definitely right about this guy being true to the animated source material. that said, i do hope they go all in on a battlefront / republic commando version someday. give it options for the modular gun, give it the extendable hand-knife, even chunkier proportions, etc. i think a lot of the uproar may be people concerned that this will be the new template for any commando release going forward. still doesnt justify some of the overblown reactions though.

After looking at the Bad Batch source material I have to agree that the design in spot on. I think the "Republic Commandos" from the video game and the Clone Wars series were much bulkier than the Imperial Commandos from BB. So glad I was able to snag one of these. Maybe we'll get a Scorch figure some day??

I just watched the season 2 episode of CW where the Commander was prevalent and this HT version looks spot on. Yes it's the same armor as Hunter (who was also a commando) but it looks just like it did in the show. I have no issue with this figure (other then I couldn't get one). NOW THAT is my biggest beef with HT......

Gonna keep driving the engagement for ya, Terry! On a different discussion, I realized another point to keep in mind with the complainers/haters/trolls/whatever... Not even counting the "professional complainers" that go out of their way to be negative online, the majority of noise you hear about any product - toys, clothes, music, movies, food, whatever - comes from people that aren't happy, whether with legitimate complaints or not. People that enjoy a product - unless they're truly blown away by it - rarely talk about it. You don't see people talking stuff that meets their expectations (which should be the goal; everything doesn't have to be "above and beyond"). I hope that companies, like Sideshow and Hot Toys, remember that when they're seeing big walls of traffic complaining about this or that, there are far more people that got the product, put it on display (or wore the shirt or ate the chips or watched the show), smiled, and went about their day. Unfortunately, the lessons that have been taken away from internet social interactions is that the "squeaky wheel gets the grease." Complainers get views, they get responses from companies, they get interactions. Rewarding negativity while ignoring the "happy invisible majority" is sadly the currently state of customer interactions. But if companies ignore the complaints, that doesn't work, either. It's a self-perpetuating loop of negatively.

I’ve been watching sellers on EBay for the Plo Koon figure and this is the first time I’ve seen it in a video! Ugh he is my absolute favorite and even though this older figure still looks great, I would love to see a new line of Jedi from AotC from Side Show! I found a crafter who makes LED lightsabers for 1/6 scale figures and he made an orange saber for Plo. Only the OGs know
