Collectibles That I Regret Selling

- The first in a series of Terry's Top Ten videos, in which I count down my biggest regrets in terms of coectibes that I've sold.
BLOOPER WARNING: In the video, I incorrectly identify one of the collectibles as the Weta F.M.O.M. Manmelter. The correct name of the Raygun is the F.M.O.M. Wave Disrupter Gun. Which is actually much cooler. The Manmelter is a completely different Weta Raygun. Apologies to Greg Broadmore and the Weta crew for this collosal snafu.
I always enjoy watching Terry talk collectibles. His 1/6th scale poses are iconic
You’re very kind, Eric. Thanks for watching and for commenting.
If I kept the collection I had as a kid, I legitimately would be a millionaire now. Yes, regrets.
This is my #2 favorite style of Video!!!
I’m genuinely surprised by the number of people who appear to be enjoying this.
Terry got to say your videos are just so enjoyable to watch. You seem like a genuinely great guy. Please do a room tour would love to see what else you have in your collecting arsenal!
Well, thank you! Very kind of you to chime in and say something like that.
I room tour video is in the planning stages. Still picking out curtains, and i want to paint the walls.
Looking forward to more of your videos. I'd also would love to see a room tour. 👊🏽
Coming soon!
we need room tour terry !!
Planning on it. Still trying to figure out the format. And I’m curating my sixth scale display. It’s a slow process.
Yup, your number three is my number one, The D9 Arc generator!!!!
Why oh why I sold that is beyond me, I got one from weta in the hour window that they were live and for sale and about a year later sold it.
That’s my biggest regret, on top of a pile of others!!!
Thanks Terry, good video.
I have the perfect spot for it today. Totally unattainable, though.
Speaking of Tusken Raiders, have you seen the Kotobukiya ArtFX Tusken Raider (Barbaric Desert Tribe) Statue?
It's a great looking piece.
I have! It’s a lovely interpretation, and I’ve had it in my cart more than once. Just can’t quite pull the trigger.
Great video! I especially love the side notes that kept popping up. They always make me laugh! As far as regret's of selling off collectibles, everything I collected in the 80's(vintage Star Wars, MOTU, G1 Transformers, GI Joe) and all my Star Wars ANH one sixth scale Hot Toys figures(except the Stormtrooper)
Ah, yeah, that's a heartbreaker. Sorry for your loss.
Awesome and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
This is my issue, I am moving, I need to sell stuff…but the regret factor is stopping me!
If you need to sell stuff, sell it. If the opportunity presents itself later with time, space and funds, you can always buy it again.
I got your top 1! Glad to hear the background story, please do more!!
Thanks! I will.
Love this video Terry! Thank you! Would be really nice to hear your top regarding Hot Toys collectibles.
Working on that, Luis. I’m taking my time to make sure I don’t forget anything.
Great episode Terry 👏
Solid compliment coming from the best father/daughter team on CZcams. Thanks.
@@PosemasterGeneral 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you brother
I regret giving away my Star Wars toys to my ex’s nephew. There were some vintage, 90s and 2000 3.75” stuff including the original kenner AT-AT and snowspeeder.
I'm sorry for your loss. :(
@@PosemasterGeneral I’m over it now - they’ve been replaced by a ton of 1/12 and 1/6 figures that I don’t even have space to display! 🤣🤣
Please do more Top 10s. Movies, collectibles, etc.
Oooooo! I never thought about doing movies. Interesting idea.
Room tour please Terry…
Planning on it. Still trying to figure out the format. And I’m curating my sixth scale display. It’s a slow process.
My biggest regret so far is selling the Hot Toys Daredevil and Punisher set based on the Netflix shows. I traded with a fellow collector for his set of Justice League Batman, BvS Chrome Armored Batman, and a Man Of Steel Superman because I just love the aesthetic of the Snyderverse version of these characters. On hindsight I probably should have just kept those two and purchased the DCEU guys, but I didn't feel like dropping around 1k to get all 3. That Punisher though. Lord I miss him.
It's weird how we can get caught up in the hype so much that we're willing to sacrifice yesterday's treasured collectibles in order to acquire today's. Sorry for your loss, man.
Regretted selling Red Sonja exclusive so much I went our and paid up for it lol. Oh werll.
The original? Or the more recent one? Also, I'm doing another Top 10 featuring figures that I sold, then bought again. So stay tuned for that one.
Hey Terry, which you prefer more Statues or 1/6 scale figures?
That seems like a question for a Q&A video, am I right? :)
(The answer is complicated...)
how to be a poser segment was the only reason i subscribed to that channel. i thought you are emotionless like anthony jeselnik in real life. u had a lot of personality and energy. May the toy collectors follow your path soon and retire from toy collecting soon.
Hey Terry! Sorry i wanna ask, is sideshow how to be a poser gone for good?
Negative, although I can see why you'd think so. I've been a little slow sending them footage over the summer, but I've been cranking out about one episode per week for them. They should have a few on deck, including episodes that I shot specifically for Spooktacular. And I'm shooting another one this afternoon.
@@PosemasterGeneral nice nice, thank you for the reply Terry. I always look for your posing videos. You're one of the best posers in the community.
My stepdad sold his 1st edition 150 pokemon cards
Zoinks! =:O
Still have the wife?
Technically, yes. But she lives a thousand miles from me.
