First movie I've watched in over 10 years, I had not seen this one before. Am 72 years old and don't even own a TV. Can't deal with all the commercials and all the BS that passes foe entertainment these days. Just my personal opinion of course but have never been a TV person tho I did have one in my truck when I longhauled and had a Playstation 2 hooked up and used to play combat games and blow things up when I needed to burn off some aggression after dealing with crazy people pretending to know how to drive.

I sit here in my chair waiting to die and the only view out of the window is flat town houses and streets. These films which I’ve seen a time or two are wonderful. For me it’s the scenery and the country. Wide open skies of brilliant blue with pine trees, meadows, mountains and scrub. I’d give anything to have one last holiday among that scenery.

A really delightful 1950 film. Funny and very enjoyable. Dan Dailey was a truly talented man and Ann Baxter won the academy award for best supporting actress earlier in 1946 in The Razor’s Edge. It was a privilege to view this one!
