Did danni pass I assume she did as she drove so well
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for this amazing tipe . i am always confused during swedish driving test how to salute becoz i feel shy with instruster but now i can easly handle 4 finger salute 🌸
Didn't check the blinker fluid
regarding the P plates, I've used them for a month after passing. it's good to use for local driving because people are more understanding of you stalling at traffic lights or struggling to park. But i would advise against using them on longer journey's or faster roads. Often found people overtaking me on the motorway from the left even when i was leaving only 2 cars lengths space from car ahead and going over the speed limit. Without the P plates my driving exactly the same on the motorways but very rarely does someone try to over take for no reason
My instructor told me that you should never do it on your test, as the examiner will do it for you. My instructor always does it for me and I feel like a lemon not saying thanks so I just dont make eye contact 😅
Passed 2 months ago ..Driving my car feels so different from the instructors ..One thing i have realised since passing is that , parking is a whole new learning curve now .. Used to park so well with my instructors car but struggling with my own . None of the reference points work plus in a busy car park you don't actual get the time to apply the methods/references taught whilst parking . So been going to empty parking lots on my own and practicing .. Hopefully will get there soon.
Tf did she do wrong lol
Great driving instructions driving along the motorway Tracks ! 😊
What did she do wrong?
Driving through a roundabout junction on the right side of the road , if you are in a right hand drive car , is the trickiest thing. It's even worse if you cannot see across the island . Make sure other drivers know you have a right hand drive car by displaying a sign on both sides and rear.
With Dutch courage obviously 😂
Giveway is there as an indication that you may need to give way. They're cautions not orders. Orders are circles, cautions are triangles. 😊❤
Some don't make sense, look at the Petersfield Road on google maps and tell me that shouldn't be 50 instead of 40 😂
I give 4 finger salutes to car drivers and head nods to my fellow bikers and emergency workers 😊
Maybe dont show videos about learning to drive with one hand on the steering wheel.
I passed my Swedish driving test 3 days ago on my second try! I have watched all your videos to learn how to plan my driving; as you know, a lot of the test in Sweden are different, like no emergency stop, but the logic and planning are more or less the same! Thanks for your videos!
5:38 Francis, did you just say that Middlesbrough has CLEAN AIR?!? Also 18:20 there's a very fine line between saying 'Howay' (geordies, mackems, monkey hangers) and 'Oway' (Boro and Stockton) And 19:00 try the Open Jar in Norton, best Parmo going 🤤
Does it not have clean air?? coming from london its like breathing pure oxygen haha I've been to the open jar its bloody fantastic in there! Portions are big enough for the jolly green giant! Hawaiian parmo? Get in my belly!!!
@@DrivingSchoolTV oh god no, granted there's far less car emissions than London but people from Middlesbrough are know as 'Smoggies' because of all the chemical industrial works and thick smog pollution 😆 Plenty of nice open air countryside surrounding us though 🌳
@@DrivingSchoolTV 35:06 also BIG UP BILLINGHAM!! That's where I grew up! Such a nice small sub-urban town, only 35000 people, no drama, proper community
How much it cost to learn to drive
Thanks for the lovely videos
5:58, funny enough I had exams but there was train strikes so my first ever drive was travelling 1hr and 15 mins on the motorway (A2,M2) which was my first time on the motorway ever as well😂
I’m going to uni in around 6 months can I get an insurance for less than a year
Indicating... before entering..as she is going straight she doesn't need to indicate before
Good instructor
They’ve just surface dressed my road today so loads of loose clippings and a 20mph sign but most still doing 30mph. Having just had my car re sprayed after an accident I’m not going out until it’s settled a bit, definitely a hazard!
Good to get into the habit of releasing the clutch between gear changes so that in a scenario where you may need to get back on the power quickly, there will be less footwork to worry about.
She uses her clutch way too much even when just slowing down. My instructor used to always tell me put your foot on the stand on the left unless slowing down or changing gears
Exactly, my recent short is a good example of this. On a roundabout with a speed limit of 50mph and I was doing 40mph due to stop-start rain through that day, a car driver pulled out infront of me, very illegally, causing me to need to brake to 20mph. If I was doing 50mph I would have needed to brake a lot harder. It keeps your riding/driving more enjoyable if you're not having to react as much to situations :'D
Nahhh but then you take the excitement out of it
@@LX_Royalty no need to get mad though, just laugh at their stupidity since it no longer impacts you 🤷🏻♀️
@@GaijinGamerGirl who said anything about getting mad
all turns made to the right.. instructor: Signal Left 💀
That is the right side lil bro
At this point get out of the car and walk
You can drag knee on a motorcycle at near walking pace, you can still have fun within the speed limit.
All that yappin and he’s not 10 and 2 😂
I think that's an old thing, that's not even relevant in a driving test anymore
I once saw someone drive a roundabout clockwise in my country. Everyone beeped but that person carried on their merry way 😂
Rubbish this country has become a place like India or China with roads you have idiots pulling out on you you have people cutting you off no one no the laws speed saves lives but so does knowing how to drive.
That’s at least a 60mph road there pal. You driving like you got no where to go
You can’t be fr right
Residential 30 max if you're in wales 20
@@cj45cal 30 is just advisory. If you can get away with 60, why not?
@jonboy1000 I dont know? Maybe because someone's child may be crossing the road.
Hayling Island's main road you can do 70+ on a motorcycle through the bends, doesn't mean you should since it's a 30mph road. Same thing applies on all roads. Time and a place.
Spot on mate, most people think that the speed limit is a target which it isn’t, it’s just the maximum speed that you can drive on that road, this looks like my street coming home from work, as you come off the roundabout you turn left into a 30mph side road and there’s always parked cars, can’t see the pavement, not much space so I drive around 15 or 20mph.
WRONG it’s a target to beat, everybody should try to excel in every criteria and should pass their limits and go above and beyond…… That road looks like a solid 70 to me
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not but your message is very worrying.
😂 it’s definitely sarcasm
Yeah but don’t be pissing off the people behind you who got places to go people to see and money to make. You doing 10mph because you lack confidence should probably just take the bus
Yes it definitely is. 😂
Oooohhhhhhhh. I get it now. Strange coz it's different side of the road and I was well confused but I get it now.
Franco I have a test on hither Green in a 2 weeks time, are you available to give me a mock test on hither Green test route
Wow your a really good teacher I'm 16 and I can confidentially say this vid helped a lot
I know this round about. From Surbiton Hight Street the 3rd exit (St Marks Hill, B3370) looks straight ahead, but when you are on the give way lines of the round about, the 2nd exit (Claremont Rd) is straight ahead. If you look at this junction on Google maps, the 4th exit is not shown as it is the entrance to Surbiton station’s taxi rank and set down point.
Instructor needs some explanation lessons from a laymen.
I’ve been driving since I was 12, I find it easy because I’ve studied cars, and I know a lot about them. But this is cool how you’re teaching him so early.
Coasting isnt ideal but its far from being bad
The scariest thing about this is using a Mercedes as a learner
Very helpful video on how to plan ahead.
Yay thanks maxine! Glad you found it helpful 😊
So refreshing to see Lisa not milking the steering wheel (that push-pull that's taught in the UK). I wonder if it's the reason her moves are slick? I really hope this push-pull will be eliminated from the UK standards soon. 😊
She really was slick! It’s not even a standard that needs to be taught in the test over here 🤷♂️
@@DrivingSchoolTV Really? So then why are the UK instructors teaching this technique?
@@Eva-mp7xg it’s seen as the safest way to steer but personally I think it’s clunky and unnecessary and once people pass they don’t steer like that anymore
@@DrivingSchoolTV Yes, I totally agree that it's clunky and unnecessary, and that most ppl don't use it after their exam. Maybe we should get rid of this requirement and in exchange introduce a separate test for manoeuvres (it's a really great idea from the NL) 😊
I am doing my test at goodmayes which crosses over 100% with the route you took. Would have had my test last tuesday but DVSA cancelled on me an hour before :( I HATE driving round this area, turning right onto ilford lane (the last busy highstreet in the vid) also I find it really difficult to read road markings on the "square-about". I know the area so I know where I need to go, but I have l always asked my instructor how I am meant to know where to go if I was new to the area. Some of the markings are very worn, others are just placed at the last possible moment. It was nice to see how you handled all those situations though:)
