Why in the hell would anyone want to try meth in the first place???

I seeked this video out being an addict and im now looking for reassurance because ive convinced myself im going to end up in lock up. I used to neglect the idea of 12 step but im surrendering myself to my addiction. I need help and id love some advice how to leave ego and twitch for the itch.

I read an interview of a guy who became addict to crack many years ago. He was from a wealthy family, had everything to become successful but fell to crack and lost money, house, cars, family, everything. He said something that i will never forget: one is too many, ten thousand are not enough. I lost by best friend due to crack, he ended up sleeping in cardboard boxes in the street. If you are having issues with substances, look for help before it's too late.

Back in the 70s I had a prescription for seconal, which is a barbiturate. Barbiturates have been replaced by benzodiazepines presumably because they are less dangerous. Mixing barbies with alcohol is what supposedly killed Marilyn Monroe and many others. However, it has not been my observation or experience that mixing alcohol with benzos is any safer. Alcohol is the most toxic drug on the planet. A person can actually die from the seizures of withdrawing cold turkey. I used to have walking blackouts from mixing alcohol with sometimes multiple other drugs. My friends assumed I was conscious and in control when I was actually like a zombie. I once came out of a blackout driving down the freeway with my kids in the backseat. I would warn anyone never to mix alcohol with any other drug. Alcohol is not only toxic, it's unpredictable, and the brain damage is irreversible. If you've ever met a wet-brain alky, it's an unforgettable experience. Once a person reaches a certain level of brain damage, they are done. There's no coming back from that. It's like having a permanent hangover. If you ever think you're approaching that point of no return with alcohol, get yourself to some AA meetings. Not the nice newcomer meetings either. Go down to skid row or the worst part of town. You will see the truly hopeless alcoholics who come to the meetings to grab a donut and a warm place to sit for an hour. You will be in for a real treat if they try to speak or tell a story. But if you're an alcoholic trying to get clean, even that might not be enough to get to you. Hitting bottom is different for everyone. For one person a DUI and a couple nights in jail is enough. Another person might have to kill someone in a car wreck or bar fight. If you drink, don't leave the house. If you think you're an alcoholic go to some AA meetings and listen to the stories. Some of them are scarier than a horror movie. Just try not to kill anyone.

The very first time I hit an entire G from a gravity bong. Blood rushing in my ears. I fell backward onto my bed and sprang forth like a nestea plunge if you play it backward. The rush did not last but a few seconds. Then every crumb on the flood looked like a tiny piece of crack. It was so addictive that I could never be addicted to it. Like a caricature drawing of addiction come to life. It was almost comical.

Potentially there r 3 major fatal consequences of an excessive amount of coke intake. My doctor name was Ronald Celeste in Cleveland Ohio. I was getting 60 80 mg Oxys and 60 30 mg Percocet. My mom had 90 80 mg Oxys, we were making $3,500 with a middleman. It wasn't worth it just to develop an addiction. Days I wish I didn't live in my own skin, going to the toilet just for a water to come out the back end. I wish I never touched or know anything about those pills. Those withdrawals some people couldn't comprehend how that feels.

In the beginning a night of doing blow was so fun . Now every time I get psychosis and think people are trying to break in my home. I’m never touching this stuff again. It’s not worth it

When it comes down to it politicians never really care about the person only there policy that credit them there no reason to charge someone for any drugs but that's My opinion what people don't understand if they can get away with charge you with something you did with no evidence there start charging people with other crimes even if there's no evidence but people never think and if you never been addict you have no right to speak on this topic because you don't no what people are going through

Quick question, if you were on very hard drugs how come you look healthy now as if you never touched them? Did it take a while?

As a suboxone user myself of now over 5 years, I can 100% say this man is telling the absolute truth! If you don't have a prior tolerance to opiates such as heroin, percocet, oxy, etc.., or if you've never taken buprenorphine (main drug in Suboxone), do NOT randomly try suboxone. It has a half-life of 12 hours, so it's producing medicine in you for the entire time. Not only that, but suboxone is taken sublingual, meaning it goes directly into your blood stream rather than your stomach like if you swallowed a pill. This means that even if you puke after you realize you're way too high and took too much Suboxone, it will NOT lessen the effects you're experiencing because it's in your blood stream and you can't puke that up. Suboxone is actually very dangerous for both people who have no tolerance, and also people who have been on it for years, you start to notice genuine life changing side effects. Please stay safe out there everyone.

I know weed doesn’t even compare to hard drugs like heroin. But when you mentioned the grief, I could relate with weed. I was a 24/7 smoker, and quitting felt like grieving a lost loved one. And I had been smoking for so long that I kind of forgot who I was sober. I can’t even begin to imagine heroin withdrawal. Thanks for your insightful videos. Have you considered doing some kind of social work to help recovering addicts?

Why can't they prescribe suboxone in jail?

I got off meth 14 months ago after a 3-4 year run and I vloged every day of my recovery and you can really see a difference. What made me quit MRSA.

My cousin stayed with us for a while, he was starting to get sober, but then went back on meth. We gave him a choice that we will try get him into a free sober living environment, but he said he loves meth so much he'd rather live on the streets than stop meth. Sadly he ended up taking his own life by moving in front of a train. I believe his heart was pure, it's just that his 20+ year addiction got the best of him and he lost. He was so talented with doing body work on cars, and I believe he could have been successful had it not been for his addiction. RIP Leo...

These videos should be shows to children to prevent them from even starting drugs.

Day 1 without i slept 20 hours! Day 2 i slept 20 hours! Day 3 (current day) im at work and i can fall asleep standing up if i want to 😂 No anxiety, i feel ok except for the sleepiness. Natural energy will come back when the body resets, dont be scared people. You will be yourself again ❤

1 year off Klonopin from 2 year daily use it was H E L L trust and believe that but it’s possible I’m not fully recovered but I’m about 70% feeling normal now some days are better than others if ur here and looking for hope this is for you It will get better ❤️‍🩹

Yup took a sub strip wayy too early ... In 10 mins I felt like I was 5 days into withdrawals .. Jesus Christ I've never wanted to off my self so bad ... I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy. I'm so serious it's not an exaggeration.
