The air chuck is crimped on, so any fix will require cutting the hose to remove the original 90° chuck. You'll need a hose clamp, 1/4" barb to 1/4" NPT adapter, and new air chuck if you choice (assuming it's an 1/4" npt fit)

There are a few discussions about where to find alternatives for this kit that Harbor Freight offers. This is what I've found so far. Harbor Freight 1/4" - 3/8" automotive coupler kit. Look at Home Depot if you want the full kit, or Milton P Style #1809 if you just need the air plugs. Milton #1805 is the coupler if needed.

I have a t6 and up graded the rear shock with a DVO Topaz Gen3 and im running a Trail-1 components carbon Crockett Handel Bar 35mm PNW loam grips and pedals.
It is a very good engine.
I’ve loved mine for the most part. Definitely want to get some higher reach bars though.
honestly I think this engine sounds better than gcv160
Looks like you added a backup camera under the spoiler. Is that a blue-tooth model?
Thank you….big help!
Great vid! Just got one myself and started looking for the rear suspension. Thank you for all the info.
You the fvckin best.
Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks
How much force to loosen radiator drain cock. Tried by hand and it is not turning. Scared to apply too much force
Shouldn't be that much. Just feels like a lot since it's plastic. But trust your gut.
Can I wire this to a 2023 Toyota Sienna LE ? Can I mount this as is in a 2023 Toyota Sienna ?
Just have to find your positive and ground.
I also bought it at Menards. 7 years later it’s still going strong and even used it to remove rusty brake caliper bolts. It is my go to ratchet.
Succinct!
thankyou.
Thanks
That thing that sticks down from the blade that you mention at 1:00 does not clip in or unclip off at all...and the one I bought online does not have that...and so I wasted my money most likely and need to get an OEM original part.....
Did it and all the lights are not working now😢
Map lights are 194
Thank U!
👍. Quick installation. Thank you
Thank you for a great video. Saved me a ton of time really appreciate you putting this on CZcams.
Saved me so much money on two pieces of frickin plastic! Especially in this economy. Legend!
Looks horrible
I cant shrink this
last one by far the most useful lol. couldn't figure that out
What size drill bit did you use?
What happens if you ONLY replace the front and do the rear separately if you have this system?
Replace with oem xreas? Good luck finding any. It's not worth the money. Replace all 4 corners with conventional shocks and struts. Once your open one corner, you basically depressurized the hydraulic line. Remember the corners are connected in an X pattern. No such thing as doing 1 corner.
Great video! Like others have said, your vid is the first to show definite coolant drain locations. What I discovered after jacking up my 2018 4Runner is that I don't have a brass drain valve on the driver side, just a bolt. I did some research and came across a forum post that indicated the same thing, from an original owner who did all his own maintenance from day one (I bought mine used). I have also seen forum posts that mention very little coolant comes out of the driver side block drain, and the theory was thrown out there that Toyota may have just plugged that drain with a bolt to save money, as it is of little importance. The passenger side drain, on the other hand is plain as day on my truck.
Great quick and detailed tutorial, I wish more were like this and thank you.
The key to this job is call rachet wrenches.
Thank you! I was 100% stumped until I found your video!
What size wrench do the engine block drains require?
It's been awhile. Either a 10 or a 12mm. It's not big
Years later, I thank you.
Thanks for the video. I was told by mechanic that they have to go in the rear cab to get to shock mount? I have a 2011 rav4 AWD, but I don’t see how or why they could access in there?
Everything was done under the vehicle. There's no need to go into the cab.
@@ulrblitzer ok thanks any idea why they would say that?
@@brianwood9849 probably just talking out of their butt and they actually didn't look. Some cars do have access panels in the rear cab for removal of the top nut. They'll be mildly surprised if they start tearing apart the inner cab of this generation rav4.
@@ulrblitzer exactly and I don’t won’t them tearing up my shit lol
Very helpful I appreciate it
What size socket do you use for the drains?
The block drain is a 10mm
if you delete the Xres system, will you get a error code on the dash or in any other system?
No. There's no electronic connection.
Did you ever do anything aboit those rough edges?
No I've been using it to line the work bench. And the magnetic side to help catch small hardware
@@ulrblitzer you ever try the yoga mat style ones?
Terrific video. Very efficient and informative. Thank you.
How do you remove all the trim pieces you had in red ?
I just bought my first 4th Gen 4Runner and I have to say it’s the most interesting vehicle I’ve ever been in! Thank you for posting this!
Good information! Does negative 7 reading mean 7 degrees below 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit?
Very helpful and concise. Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Can put links of where you purchased these bulbs and brand if ya can?
At how many miles did you change those out? I have 184K and it still drives great!
Started leaking around 90k
@@ulrblitzer no leaks on our 07 RAV4 Limited, passes the bounce test. I’ll imagine I’ll have to change because of the bushings.🤷♂️ Thanks
I'm impressed you're one of the only CZcams videos that actually references the block drains. But a good hint get a laser pointer and you'll be able to show people much easier where stuff is I don't know if you do more videos, but a laser pointer would have helped point out the block drains.
Did mine today.. mine looks to have been replaced before since it has a green hose fitting on the PCV valve. It still had a gooey oil on the end of it nonetheless thank you for showing me how to get it done...
wonder if this is the same for the V8 SR5 engine since have unable to locate that info yet?
