This is not interesting. Reviewers act like entitled influnecers at times. What are we watching here? The majority of people aren't interested in you talking about stereophile or the reviewing process.

Can "the old man" Mr. Harry be convinced to ressurect his ultrasonic process and research findings and publish them to a book ? ....the UNDERSTANDING AND WISDOM would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED to those of us who wish to learn and IMPROVE.

So while I watched this interview at our summer home, I was looking at my HW-19 and HW-16. These are serving well since 198? At my winter home there is an HW-40 and an HW-17. Before the HW-40 there was a Prime with two arms. So you might deduce that I am a satisfied customer. Ken and I correspond about jazz from time to time and we both share a background with drums. I really enjoyed the time spent today. Great questions, meaningful answers, thank you gentlemen!

What’s a significant step up in sound quality from the Prime, without breaking the bank and preferably more user friendly (I shake too)?

I like this company. I think my next turntable it's going to be vpi. I like the look of a lot of the European counterparts as well.

Three great guys and a wonderful chat. Fun and informative. Harry (and his wonderful wife, Sheila) were so kind to us at the very start of our magazine 30 years ago. Remember the brunch at The Pierre, Harry? Mat has done a fabulous job with Harry’s great company. And you’re right, Ken, the VPI house is wonderful. Bill, i have had contact with you (at your Santa Monica sales apartment) and products over the years including the two large diameter Litz speaker cables you sold as Live Wire. until then, I had never heard truly fast sounding wire. my friend hadthem connecting his Yamaha B2 amp and IMF Monitor III transmission line speakers. over the years, I have had many of the same revelatory experiences as yourself and am amazed at the parallel lines there. i heartily recommend your products to my friends because I use them myself if not exclusively. thank you and Ken for this deeply insightful interview.

It's funny how every american ever is so proud of when a product they love and use, is fully made in the USA. Like everything that's made outside of the USA is not good?? Well now, the loudspeaker was actually invented by a dane, in 1915. And we actually do make very nice high end speakers here in Denmark. You should have a look.

Zen Widow listening party was a lot of fun. Garth was so insightful and funny. And Bill nails every important psychoacoustic observation and how we listen to music intellectually and emotionally. It takes trust and experimentation. Cable experimentation are a great way to find both- accuracy and immersion. Phase is really everything when listening critically for something.

Funny how they claim Q3, Q4… When was last time WE actually brought new product to market, much less on time? They showed the 777 rAMT midrange driver over 2 years ago. Said to be released for production Q3 of 2022…..still waiting 🤦‍♂️

This one 11k + or less than 11k$ the what is it…19E 300b amp is nice but round 12 it’s steep. 5k and under would be awesome

Love my 1C speakers, which I’ve had for 25 years. Richard Vandersteen is an amazing guy, a genius who speaks clearly and simply about complex things. Terrific guy.

Super tweeters ... yeah, had a set from Tannoy ... and they do NOTHING for the quality of your sound. Just buy an amp with Dirac Live BC multisub if you have subs in a regular house room....

Thought this was great. I did not mind the length at all. Wish he would have answered the question about what the he believes the differences are between the different product lines and levels a little more fully. But he answered how he answered, and generally it was really interesting. Thanks!

Great! Mr. Low has very precisely formulated several thoughts that have been running through my mind for some time. Reflection on AB tests, the way we perceive music, that we are not really an oscilloscope and that changes in the time domain can be considered problems in the frequency energy domain and many others. Despite the energy and enthusiasm that Mr. Low has. That's two hours well spent.
