One thing that I feel like isn’t tallied about more is at the end when he killed hawkfrost he peirced his neck with a stick just like in the real books he took the nail from the fox trap and stabbed hawkfrost in the throat with it (just wanted that to get noticed)

1:25 i love that the birch trees look like they have eyes on them in this scene. Really makes it feel like bramble is being constantly watched and judged

Love the portrayal of them dying as prey animals and this whole idea as a whole, the mood of this map has been accuanted very well and the song fits perfectly

I love how when you see the prey versions of each victim being killed, Its not Bramble being the one to kill them, but the cat whos being killed. You can see this most clearly with Tawnypelts death. Such a cool detail!

Obsessed with this, love the LOVE the inclusion of their life pretransition… and how it affects themself… even as they grow into an entirely new person… seen in the detail of the mane growing!! This is so neat!!! Heartbroken for this character… (Also, maybe looking into it a bit much, but I love how the miserable childhood they had with unaccepting parents in an extremely misogynistic household sort of becomes juxtaposition? Like- the idolized version of the Guild-Knight-Adventurer-Self(?) they built in their head as a child, to the trauma-riddled one they became, like maybe they became so wrapped up in somehow PROVING their existence that they got lost, and forgot about the life they truly wanted??) either way, I love this!!! The tremendous amount of loss experienced by the Character here is so heartwrenching …

I just realized that there was an ending scene! Seeing it… does that mean Squirrelflight survived? If she did then that would change the story, meaning that the “spirits” he was seeing were actually just hallucinations. His guilty conscience if you will

I haven’t even gotten to the New Prophecy, and didn’t really realise what this was an AU for when I clicked on it. Then I just saw Firestar trapped in some wire with a creep standing over him and nearly gagged. Firestar’s face was enough to send me into a straight up coma, but instead I just had to sit in a dark room for a sec.

I think Holly Jay and Lion would definitely work better as BrambleSquirrel kits in this au... esp since Crowfeather is dead rip. Maybe Squirrelflight raises them as Ashfur's since after Bramble and Hawk everyone would 100% believe Tigerstar's bloodline was cursed, and he either knows and uses the secret to keep her in the relationship as he becomes more controlling or he doesn't know and the fire scene is him trying to kill them after finding out they weren't his kits... Hollyleaf killing Ashfur because she believes she is destined to become a killer anyways self-fulfilling prophecy etc

another small detail i love about this is the first point to firestar is just a cheeky little thing on hawkfrost's end, then it evolved into the trigger for every death that follows

I love how you never get to see brambleclaw ACTUALLY killing the cats, just the prey versions of them. Its like he pretends to himself that he only sees them as something he needs to kill to survive, thus taking the guilt off him. Its such an interesting au, and the blood slowly covering more of brambleclaw as he continues his rampage is chilling. The imagery in this map has got to be one of my favs!

I feel like a lot of people making this meme don't realize that the "Oh I just learned, there's like 58" line is spoken by Chris-Chan (Christine Weston Chandler)

I love this map but what does hawkfrost gain from having bramble kill everyone in this au? in the books he wanted him to kill firestar for power but this seems much more senseless
