I found this song the day I was to hang with my old gal best friend. And we were older and more ready for true love. I played it and we danced under the stars on her back porch. A lighting storm was off in the distance and we both seen a shooting star each. If that’s not the universe telling us it’s our time then idk wtf is?!?!

It continues to blow me away that this video wasn't made for this song. Everything fits so fucking well, and it didn't even need to be re-ordered at all, just sped up from the original a bit (and maybe some other editing for pacing/timing, but still). The lyrics edited in are impressive, and put in with so much love and attention to detail. The way the letters are a different color behind the fire at 1:46, like, dude. What a work of love. I'm SO GLAD someone out there realized how well this song could go with this animation and put forth the effort to make it happen. One of my favorite videos, and honestly would fit just fine as an official video.

When I found these videos, I was with someone I really cared about. That time has passed but finding these again has been a nice way to remember things. I remember sending them this exact link on snapchat years ago.

"And you think you've figured out everything I think I know my geography pretty damn well" Those rather simple lines just sticks out to me everytime, the familiar condescension of the words just fill me with feelings recognition, its the kind of lyrics that make you really think and experience a sort of connection with something hard to describe, exellent stuff.

I listened to this song and watched this video a lot as a kid. When i turned 18, i found a partner, and was with them for 3 years. We went on a roadtrip in 2020 across the west, from NJ to California, and up through the midwest. We lived in a car, and were loving every moment. We eventually started to change a lot as the years went on, and we grew apart from eachother. This song, and video, that id watch on repeat when i was 14, accurately predicted the future. Im in a better place now though. Living in Nepal. I met a girl here, and i might move to germany with her. Life moves on, the road keeps going. This video just acts as a bittersweet reminder to what love and life is. Moving.
