this video sets the stage perfectly for the "edit the sad parts" one...
I'll be honest, I really really dig and miss the sound of the lady doing back-up vocals on some of these older songs. I believe it was Eric Judy's wife at the time? She just fit so well and provided a very dreamy quality to whichever track she was on. I think Isaac's vocals do well when paired with a much more conventional 'pretty' voice. It's a juxtaposition that's constructive, imo.

This was the final song I ever was fortunate enough to witness Jeremiah Green play live. Just over a month ago in Vancouver on the LCW 25th anniversary tour. RIP Jeremiah =(
This song.. well really this whole album. Will always a hold very special place in my heart. It will always remind me of taking a ferry and driving to the Washington coast by myself to go camping. The drums and guitar on this track remind me of the crashing waves, the rolling tires, the open highway. Hope it doesn't sound too cheesy but it's just how I feel.

I always thought it was a sentence interrupted by a thought - a guy thinking about where he's going, trying to drive and retrace his steps while figuring out the path to his destination "There's the overpass, the underpass. I stopped for gas at... wait where was that place?" That sort of thing.
