There is a way to get out of Bluegreen. It is called Reasonable Exit. It will cost you some money, but you will wind up spending it anyway if you continue with them. It is usually the cost of 1 1/2 years maintenance fees.

Read the comments below. It appears that everyone qualified for the legacy program requirements but Westgate declined them anyway and without giving any reason. So perhaps the Legacy program is a farce and another fraudulent sales tactic to make you think that there is an escape clause?.

The timeshare tells you to check back in 5-10 days. It is their stall tactic. Don't waste time of the phone, except to get names and address so that you can send certified letters. LOTS of them. Send so many that they get tired of you and maybe they will let you out, but you may have to pay them to take back the contract.

Hilton Grand Vacation in Orlando Florida is a total SCAM!!!! The home base is Las Vegas . Buyers beware! got suckered into this in 2021 for $15,000 and between administrative fee's, taxes , Maintenance fee's we found that it was just a con job! We tried numerous times to book with Negative results. finally called an attorney and tried calling numerous times and was told to email ONLY! Really !!! Then we received an email stating that the only resale or buyback option would be that the timeshare we purchased in 2021 would be worth $2,000!!! Really!!! 1 year depreciation from $15,000 to $2,000 Ha HA Laughable!!! People beware!!!

Never pay up front to get out of a timeshare. That is a red flag. Best way to get rid of it is to pay off the huge loan and give it back to the company that sold you the timeshare. Use it as much as you can as maintenance = hotel fees you would pay anyways. Your initial cost for your timeshare was the real scam.

I sold 13 of my 13 Deeded Fixed Annual Timeshare weeks at one resort on Facebook Marketplace for $50 to $100 each in 2021 and worked with the Settlement company the Management company uses and worked with the Deed Transfer Department of the Manament company. So far this year, 2022, i have sold for free 6 of my remaining 8 Deeded Fixed Annual Timeshare weeks at another resort through the resort real estate company for a $50 fee per Deed Transfer. Thankfully a couple bought 3 on the same Deed which saved me $100 of Deed Transfer fees. Agree 100% don't pay to list your Timeshare weeks for sale

I haven't even paid my down payment and decided to get out. We have gave them $400 and that's it. They wanted to setup payments but I called and said they couldn't help. It's the craziest thing I've heard. Haven't even been 4 weeks

I cancel my timeshare before the rescission date by certified mail and mailed it 5 days early, but it arrived late. Is it still good?

My parents are 85 and 87. They have 3 time shares that they have had for like 25 years. $1200 per year in maintenance fees. No mortgage payments anymore. They still do not understand that the time shares are worthless which is why they have held on to them. Total scam. They want out. I told them to just stop paying the yearly maintenance fees.

The time share scam never ends, including with you! Selling your time share obligation without approval will not end your obligation for the maintenance fee. Bankruptcy is probably the only way out!
