Hey, I’m not sure if I will, it just takes some upkeep and right now I don’t have the time to keep my roots and colour looking fresh so easier to go back to my natural colour.. I’m sure I will get bored of it in no time though 😅😅 xx

Roots always lift lighter, you may need to put the hicolour HiLights on your roots for less time to even out and match the darker rest of your hair. Or you can continue with your way and the dark ends will eventually grow out and you’ll be left with brighter hair. Or you can go ahead and lift the darker ends and deposit colour again to make it brighter but I’m not a hair specialist and I don’t know the integrity of your hair so possibly best to seek professional help xx

Depends how I want the colour to look but usually I do 1/4 hot hot pink and 3/4 vampire red for manic panic. For roots I use L’Oréal HiColor HiLights magenta and 30 volume developer

I used L’Oréal HiColor HiLights in Magenta for my roots and I use Manic Panic in Vampire Red for my overall colour 😇 it does say in my video and in the description box xx

@@MadisonLeigh thanks! I have another question. I tried this today and my roots lifted more than the rest of my hair. I did a hair color remover kit prior to putting the red on, but it didn’t lift all of old color off I think. Can I go back in with more of the L’Oréal magenta on the bottom half of my hair or will it not lift again?

@@abby_stewart hey girl, I’m not a hair stylist or professional but I’m my opinion I think it could work just fine. When I first dyed my hair red I had half a head of pre dyed ends so they needed more. What I did was I started with 40 volume developer on the mid lengths to the ends of my hair and then used 30 volume developer to work my way up and did my roots last. This takes a lot longer and I had to do it twice but will probably give you the most even lift xx

@@MadisonLeigh I watched someone on CZcams dye their hair with the directions pillarbox red hair dye and it turned out pretty good and it’s cheap. It’s a good brand tbf I’ve used them a few times x

Hey, if you mean using developer with Manic Panic, I guess you could. It won’t react with any chemicals in the Manic Panic dye because it has no lightening properties in it, although the developer might dry your hair out a little bit. Not so sure, perhaps see what a hair professional thinks xx

Hey, we’ll magenta is just the pinker version so sometimes I would mix red with magenta to get a brighter red that fades more on the pinker tone so you can use red if you want xx

If it’s the L’Oréal then 40 mins I guess but I’m not a hair dresser, stick to the instructions xx

Hey Daniela, no I don’t really use it so much anymore, I just use the Vampire red. But that’s just because it’s cheaper for me to bulk buy one colour instead of a few of both colours xx
