Out of all their songs on all their albums, there’s only 2 songs that aren’t my favorites, & I can’t say I hate them either. Unless you decide to check out more, you are missing out on so many great songs.

This is my favorite live performance, you can see & feel the soulful blues. The worst thing is, how many times you stopped, it definitely ruins the beautiful flow. Yes I understand you reactors need to stop, but not so many times.

John was always the 'funk" of the band. That day in the studio he wouldn't stop playing this baseline....until they went home and it was stuck in their heads. 😂😂

Somebody to Love was Fred's favorite song. He loved the vocals with Roger and nobody stood out from the other ❤ PS. Freddie only drank black tea and lemon when performing. Fun Fact Frd wrote "Crazy little thing called love" soaking in the bath. In about 10 minutes.

Please, pls do watch the 20 minute long performance at Live Aid, July 13th 1985......It was the best! This was their second night of performing.

It's a beautiful and miserable challenge listening, watching this work by John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Brian May. I was one of the people fortunate enough to have been witness to this tour. While it wasn’t this specific concert, it was the same order of songs. It was the last time I saw them. Next month (October 2023) I will be seeing Brian, Roger and Adam, Queen+. Never thought it would happen.

I’m so sorry for not having discovered you until now. You made me curious about your traditions because of the way you dismissed the idea of anyone being interested. Your careful listening to every word of each lyric showed how your mind works to make your heart speak. You are a wonderful, loving, beautiful soul. I’m old enough to have seen Queen, live in concert, for the first time, in 1976, as a teenager.

Actually, it was John's choice to be in the background which is part of the reason he rarely sang. It is too bad because John had the lowest voice and would have added more depth and texture to the harmonies but John was shy and for the most part the quiet one, at least in public. Freddie said that when performing live, he relied on John to keep him in the right place at the right time musically. He said it war absolutely necessary to know where the bass player was at all times. It is John's 72nd birthday today so it is fitting that I found this older reaction at this time.
