All these projects going on are very, very good for the nation but, my concern as a citizen is the type of iron rods (size wise) they are using for all these infrastructure. My experience as a road and building construction worker in Europe with reputable companies like Strabag, Terrag Asdack , Mayredere etc. I find it amazing how our engineers allow all these foreign companies to use such a low quality materials for such a long term investment, is it because Ghana government can’t afford the purchase of the quality of materials needed or our engineers are not good enough for a project supervision? It is heart breaking to see things like this and one can’t afford to give any advice or criticise or share a knowledge. Ghana deserves better. What we are building today is for the betterment of tomorrow generation. I didn’t not see flyovers in Ghana when I was growing up apart from the one that linked Adabraka to kokomlemle but life was good and fine because there wasn’t much traffic in those days, then came on board to the Abofu-Abeka which was abandoned by Swedru contractors because financial difficulties,by the wisdom of Dr. Kwasi Botchwe as a finance minister at the very difficult time to make it possible to finance it for completion. Let’s learn how to build a strong foundation for our nation for the future generations.✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

What happened to the old one we have before maintenance is the problem

These railways require very extreme maintenance regimes ,my concern is that,the culture of maintenance can be compromised for financial considerations, our traders, farmers, and other users will require intensive sensitization before they embark on any trip,else this nice facility will rot in no time. What will be the calibre of people who will patronise the facility? For it looks so nice for my liking.
