I bought my iphone 15 pro on october 27th 2023, and by june 21st 2024 (about 8 months) the battery health dropped to 91%. Average screen time is around 7-8 hours, cycle count is 309. I play games on my phone, record fancam at concert with 4k60fps 2 times so far (and obviously had to use the power bank), and most of the times I charged my phone when it's already 5% and always to 100%. I am not sure whether the battery health drop is in an okay zone or is it degrading too fast 🥲😅😂

Bought 15pro in 8th March and battery health dropped to 99% after 110 cycles..is that normal??

Update 1, My Studio Display blew up yesterday, belching smoke for 6 minutes before a final loud bang. Only lasted 18 months, very scary failure and I did get it on video. Posted pictures of the failure on my community tab and what to look out for before this failure. I can't post a video because I now have no display. Update 2 Initial Investigations are pointing at the slim internal power supply thats failed, the left hand side section when looking at the display. The staff at the Apple store have seen all my videos of the failure and they were astonished, looked over the Display with a fine tooth comb but never opened it up. They could see from the video it's a destroyed unit and unrepairable. I purchased it from Apple 18 months ago and I'm in the refund process. Sadly that refund process isn't as automatic as it should be. And what's wild is they didn't keep the very damaged Studio Display. I'm the proud owner of a bricked, burnt out Studio Display. And anyone saying this is BS are just plain stupid.

Hi i watched your video it's very informative and helpful... Looking at this video I would like to know something's better... i recently purchased the iphone 15 pro max.. I also purchased the Magsafe wireless charger( keeping in mind the charging voltage and to promote battery health) .. Please can you share your experience... How do you charge your phone with the wired cable or wireless charging? And is it normal for it to get a bit warm? Also do charge it with the case on?

About turning the display off. Just connect the display to a branch outlet with on/off button. Place it conveniently underneath your desk and use that button. I just press the fingerprint button on my keyboard and it all goes to sleep. I dont see the need to have a physical off button.

Battery Health at 100% since November 2023 94 Cycle Count as of today

I bought iPhone 15 Pro Max in November 2023. Until now, the cycle count is 250 cycles. The battery health still remains 100%. I always charge to 100% every night with the old Apple 5w adapter and sometimes charge with 25w during the day. The key factors I think affect battery health the most are temperature, wattage and charging time.

Bought in October, 15 Pro at 95% at 253 cycles. Using a 20w Apple fast charger (Not MagSafe). Getting 6-7 hours of OST with heavy use.

Just dot rid of my 4 play 1s yesterday. Era 100s are ol sale for 199.00 right now. perfect timing to get rid of the old ones.

Sony have Biger sensor area but why iphone with small sensor has better detail and dynamic range? i saw in your video compare and iphone was better in details and dynamic range! that is bigest question...!!!

92% with 280 cycles. This is on par with my old 13 Pro. About 5-6 hours screen on time strictly on LTE.

iPhone 15 Pro bought at the day one, now it have 273 cycles and 96% of battery healt, I have the 80% charge limit

have two ones along with Sonos Arc and Sonos mini sub. For me, this configuration is great, as the sound quality is very good. I think it only makes sense to replace my Sonos One's if I'm going to purchase the Era 300, because between the era100 and One, the sound quality is very identical, perhaps it's only possible to see the difference if you put the two working side by side, but in real world it's not worth the upgrade, unless you don't have the Sonos one, in which case I'd buy the Sonos era 100.

I took my airpods in 2 days before the 3 year mark with the same noise issue. They immediately replaced them and upgraded to the 2nd gen.

i have the simple iphone 15, bought November 10th last year so exactly 6 months and 10 days now. Battery is at 99%, i charged it anywhere from 20, 25 to 85, sometimes very rarely 90. So not hitting the exact sweetspot, probably thats why lost of 1%..but still i would say pretty decent, i;m curious if 1000 cycles will last as Apple says..

I like how realistic and honest you are. Just a display of normal useful edc items. And yes, Apple producs are expensive. I use them as well, but this doesn’t change the fact that they cost a lot of money. Also you’re not flashing other ultra expensive items like a rolex watch or a titanium/golden whatever and acting like it’s not a big deal and this is part of your normal life. Why you disconnect the thunderbolt cable from Apple Studio in the case of mac mini o mac studio? You can shut down the mac mini or mac studio and is enough

Iphone images are highly processed and they scream processed. And low light performance is really bad with iphone. Physics cannot be defied. But I am glad we have good cameras on phones so we can now take much better pictures when not carries real camera. I would rather buy a cheaper iphone than pro and spend the rest of money on a good camera.

How about using MacOS to put the monitor asleep. It isn’t necessary to go to all this trouble to turn off the display.
