It is literally and truly one of the best moments I’ve seen from Rajai Davis. I met him at 13 years old and he was on the Altoona Curve. I attended one of the clinics they hosted and he asked me, “What do you want to be when you grown?” I answered I wanted to be a baseball player. He told me “kid with that attitude you can make it happen.” Now I may not have made it, because of politics, I had the privilege of watching this masterpiece and seeing Rajai have a World Series moment. And I was so happy he wasn’t the last out.

As a Giants fan, me and my dad watched game 7 to see who would break the curse and the 8th inning was one of the most thrilling, hearthrobbing and intense moments ive ever experienced watching sports. That lead up to Rajai's homerun, literally feeling the immense anxiety on thousands of Cubs and Indians fans that were there, both fanbases wondering if their moment of glory was slipping away. And then BANG the homerun. One of the loudest reactions ive ever heard. It was just a perfect baseball moment.

I used to cheer like this....when I was a kid. Then I grew up and said, why am I cheering for these guys? If they win, what do I get? Nothing. Except higher prices for tickets and a bunch of greedy owners and players ripping off fans. Sports is just like political parties . They give you the illusion you gave a say. But in reality, they play for themselves while pretending they play for you.

I'm sorry but Cleveland deserved to win this game. Still one helluva series and brings tears to my eyes watching that homer and watching the fans go nuts.

1995 was difficult, but they went up against 3 tremendous SP'S in glavine, maddux and smoltz. 1997 and 2016 losses really hurt. Had a 2-1 lead in game 7 against the Marlins before Jose Mesa blew the save. 2016 they blew the 3-1 series lead.

The Guyer at bat was pure guts. Hardly anybody talks about that bc of what was about to occur. The Davis at-bat is a sequence that reminds us how critical sports is and its impact. If you watch the entire Davis at-bat, the on the mark commentary, the pictures Fox Sports found in the crowd along with the late and great John Adams beating on the drums, it truly is a rare sports moment that all of us should cherish and watch over and over again as it was that remarkable.

Cleveland baseball joined the American League in 1901. I don’t think there will ever be an inning as great as this in the entire history of the franchise. Not in the 115 years before, not in the 115 years after. The way that the TV broadcast captured this moment is something else. The beating of the drum 🥁, the slow buildup of the rally, the rally caps, the Cubs fans, LeBron’s reaction and shirt at the peak of his popularity …… The Baseball Gods emerged from their meditation for this game. Universes collided and merged into another during this game. 2016 was an insane year to be living in Cleveland.

What really irritates me, is those thousands of people outside the ballpark should have been inside the ballpark-but instead you had a ton of season ticket holders sell their tickets to Cubs fans…

Even though it was a tough loss for my Tribe and fellow Cleveland fans, the Rajai Davis home run was the biggest highlight of the game in my opinion.

The camera work on Rajais AB is unbelievable, some of the best I’ve seen on TV. Getting all the emotion from the crowd with the right amount of game aswell

What a moment in baseball history. Still heartbroken as a lifetime Indians fan. They didn't win game 7 but still the greatest moment in Indians history.

Now this was fun baseball…. Sad what my beloved sport has become.. politics BLM and pride nights.. those 3 should not be allowed in baseball

And then, like 'The Fumble' and 'The Drive', Cleveland was blocked by 'The Rain Delay'. Cleveland had completely shifted the momentum and then the rain came. :(
